I've been avoiding all of those clips and scenes they show on the Internet, because they can quickly accumulate and you wind up seeing like 30 minutes of the film. Likewise, I haven't been watching any of the trailers, the international trailers, etc etc.
So I went to 21 Jumpstreet on cheap Tuesday and saw the newest trailer for The Avengers and my erection got so huge, it broke through the seat in front of me, and then through the seat in front of that seat, and started pounding the back of the head of the woman sitting there. Her husband looked back and gave me the stinkeye. She turned and smiled at me just as I unloaded 5 lbs of oatmeal on her face. The guy was all pissed and i said "I'm not sorry for that at all. That was Wonderful!" After the movie she smiled at me and gave me the 'call me' sign with her pinky and thumb. He just glared some more.
Anyway, my point being, the Avengers trailer gave me a big boner and I can't wait to see it in three weeks, which incidentally is also FCBD on Saturday.

I want to see this, but out of the pre-Avengers movies I've only seen the Iron Man ones, so I might go to one o' them "pay $20 and sit on your ass for 14 horus watching all the movies in a theater" things. So yeah. In case you're all like, "I wonder what JJL's doing 20 days from now," well, quit fuckin' wonderin'.

I honestly don't think I could pull that off. And if I did, I think by the time I got to the last film, I would detest all things Avengery, and wind up hating it.

same here, actually. we simply loaded up our netflix queue with 'the incredible hulk', 'thor' and 'captain america: the first avenger' batting first, second and third. TIH has already been viewed (it was okay, though i think the stills of the hulk in 'the avengers' looks lightyears better). 'thor' should be arriving soon, with cap soon thereafter. then we can watch both IM movies and be all set.

I'm still behind myself. I guess I'll have to make myself watch Thor at some point; the others, I want to see.

i know, i was pretty annoyed that i missed all three in the theater, but money was extremely tight that... lifetime.

I might have to turn in my geek card, because I can't get myself excited beyond, "Eh, if I get a chance to see it in the theater, great. Otherwise, I'll see it sometime or other."

I guess it's just that Thor, Cap, and Iron Man are bottom-of-the-barrel heroes for me, and it's hard to care about Hulk with all his reboots. Oh, and Hawkeye. Fuck Hawkeye.

Already trying to schedule my life around Dark Knight Rises and Retaliation, though.

I, on the other hand, am in the opposite direction.
If you're all wondering why the sun goes down three hours later than normal next week, it's because my gigantic erection is going to tilt the Earth off it's axis for a couple hours. BBOOINNNNGGGG.

RDJ was an awesome Iron Man.

I can get excited about him as Iron Man, but no Iron Man himself, if that makes any sense.
