Perhaps the soon-to-be-released (hell soon to be made) Rockin Deece will help change their minds- once we get the video cam back, I am almost ready to shot- I just got a pretty-good-condition Gi Joe "Rolling Thunder" which will serve as their command centRE

Oh and I still can't believe they're actually making that KH "must have" 5 pack, 4 different coloured straight-up repaints and that inexplicable "female" one with bubes , SERIUOS wtf territory there

Dang. I missed the Fire Prevention Week Canadian exclusive Mabudon w/ foot stomping action.

Don't worry, they're releasing a repaint as part of the basic line early 09, it'll be the "Mayors invitational Grape Stomp champion", with the only difference being the (ridiculously oversized) stomping foot has purple weathering, not black :mabs:

Now that you've said it, Hasbro has canceled it, along with the future Rockin' Deuce Trilogy 3 pack.

Thanks.
Ass.

Fuck. :frus:

I'm more than satisfied with being a repaint. At least it's an awesome Canadian instead of a sucky Lantastic one.

Hey, both of your figures are repaints of Canadians, aren't they? How did you luck into that?

I didn't notice the Mabs repaint before. Man, I DID get lucky! Too bad I'm related to Slicker's mom still..

The movie figures suck. I saw a picture of Bizarro The Grin, and it was clearly designed when they thought Tim Conway would be playing him. They just stuck on the head from a 25th Anniversary Rock 'N' Roll, and stuck the original BTG head onto an Indy Mutt Williams figure to make Diabolical.

Is it really Tim Conway's head or did they just reuse Chancellor Valorum's head from the TPM line? Hasbro will probably just recycle CZ-4 as Mister Roboto. Naturally he will be short packed.

They are just going to recycle a Michael J. Fox figure from Back to the Future for Ran. Then there is going to be a chase Ran figure exclusive to Mabu-con 2011 of Ran in Paul Stanley Disguise.

Slicker is a simple Shipwreck repaint, except he comes with 3 Timbers (all repainted).

For some reason Cappy is a Mighty Mugg.

I've heard the Slicker will also be packed with the Complete Galaxy Dagobah, repainted to look like a moon. And the inside will be retooled so there are three husky Indian women with diabetes on a spring-loaded launcher, so they can throw themselves at Slicker.

You're half right: That version is a MabuCon Exclusive (with a ridiculous $149 price tag).
