I need to get some drawer boxes. I always wait until I've got piles of books randomly stacking up everywhere, and then by the time I invest in more boxes, they're 4/5ths full already.

They're great. I won't buy anything with a removable lid that's just going to get stepped on, written on & otherwise brutalized ever again. The short boxes are perfect when I want something self-contained - these 3 now contain Preacher, Sandman & Robinson Starman respectively so I don't have to go digging.

Since last time (with some minor thoughts)
Agent Carter – S.H.I.E.L.D. 50th Anniversary #1 (Action Figure Variant)
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. #5-6
Batman #52
Batman: Rebirth #1
Black Widow #3
Civil War II #0-1
Criminal: Tenth Anniversary Special Edition Magazine
Daredevil #7-8 - I think I'm done with DD. This new series just doesn't have it.
Daredevil/Punisher #1 - Only going to finish it because of Punisher.
Darth Vader #20-21
DC Universe Rebirth #1 - The fuck was that?
Deadpool #11-13
Deadpool Masacre #1
Detective Comics #52 & 934
Guardians of the Galaxy #8-9 - Getting bored with the Guardians also.
Gwenpool #0-2 - Tried it. Just ok. Done.
International Iron Man #3 - I'll probably finish this first arc.
Mockingbird #3 - Fairly entertaining. We'll see how the next few issues go.
Obi-Wan & Anakin #5
Paper Girls #6
Poe Dameron #2-3
Power Man and Iron Fist #4 - I like it, but not enough to keep buying it.
Preacher Special #1
The Punisher #1-2 & #1 (Action Figure Variant) - Poor writing and shitty art = cancelled soon.
The Rocketeer at War #3
Scarlet #8-9
Star Wars #19
Star Wars: Droids #1
Star Wars Covers
Timely Comics Doctor Strange #1 - Reprints the first three issues for the acclaimed new series for only $3. Haven't read it yet.
Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #3 (Action Figure Variant) & 8
Motor City Comic Con buys, almost all were between $.50-$5.00.
Civil War II FCBD
Darth Vader #1 (Blank Cover Variant) - intended on getting a sketch or something, but never did.
Generation X Classic Vol. 1 TPB
Marvel Masterworks: Golden Age Marvel Comics #1 TPB
The Punisher: Die Hard in the Big Easy
The Punisher: Ghosts of the Innocents #1
The Punisher Meets Archie #1
The Punisher: No Escape
The Punisher: P.O.V. #1
The Punisher: P.O.V. #2
The Punisher: P.O.V. #3
The Punisher: P.O.V. #4
The Punisher: The Prize
The Rocketeer: The Official Movie Adaptaion
Star Wars #5-6 (Action Figure Variants) - Because it was Artoo and Threepio.
Strange Tales TPB
Strange Tales II TPB (Hardcover)
Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #5
And finally on to this week's haul:
Batman #1 - Meh. Done with the bats titles.
Black Widow #4 - I'm liking it so far.
Civil War II #2 - I'm still not sure. The death in issue #1 felt like it was done for pure shock value only.
Dark Knight Returns: The Last Crusade - I'm surprised I liked this as much as I did - much more than DKIII, that's for sure.
Deadpool #14 - After ANOTHER $9.99 issue last time, I'm just about done with Wade.
Han Solo #1 - Loved it. Marjorie Liu nails the dialogue and characterizations while Mark Brooks' art is pretty dead on.
Lazarus #22 - blah, blah, blah, I'm the only one here reading it.
Scarlet #10 - After three issues back-to-back-to-back after a long ass hiatus, and they hit me with: "Continued next year!" Bendis and Maleev are lucky I'm really enjoying the story. 10 issues since 2010 is just stupid.
Star Wars #20 - Another artistically beautiful issue about Obi-Wan's time on Tatooine. When a wookie bounty hunter comes after Ben, Owen gets caught in the middle.

Between my new job, having two different vehicles die on me, and moving into my new apartment a few weeks ago, I haven't had time to post my weekly purchases. Hell, I haven't even had time to READ all of them. One, or two, or six issues dont get read in a week, and the pile just keeps growing. So by now it's like 150 books. I don't think I have the inclination to recap every damn one. I'll probably just do clumps of issues after I get them sorted.
Tonight is going to be a read-a-thon. Finish up this week's reading and then catch up on as many previous weeks as I can while sorting and boarding them all.
On the positive side though, I bought five drawer boxes and 200 backerboards today, so I can catch up on organizing them at least.

My reading slowed down while we were selling the house too, with all that shit happening in storage comics were stressing me out. I had a look at the new DCs today though and they were all ok. I need the Superman Rebirth issue & the first Detective - odds are I'll have to settle for comixology but I'm not that worked up over it.
Black Panther 3 - I'm still not quite sure what the hell is going on. If someone is following this book without issue, they're very good at reading comics. I keep swearing I'm done buying it, but I guess I'm not quite yet.
Ultimates 8 was a good recap of the team coming together & the opening shots of the second Civil War. The art is very Lenil & they're trying to make it Hickman-like, so it kinda fits in with the feel of Infinity from last year.
The Dark Knight prequel issue was a bit of a non-starter until the ending. Likely still not worth the high price if you can find it scanned on the net.
DD, DD & Pun, Inhumans & the X-books haven't been read yet.

First batch of 25 issues.
Amazing Spidey 11-14. The fight with Scorpio wraps up in 11. And then Spidey andIron Man team up to battle Regent, the guy from the SW mini.
Ant-Man 7-9. Scott hires a team of villains to help him break into Cross industries because his daughter became a supervillain.
ANAD Avengers 8-11. Standoff wraps up, the daughter of Hank and Maria Pym shows up as the new Wasp, amd the team heads off into space to find Nova's dad and fight Annihilus.
New Avengers 10-12. Standoff wraps up, SHIELD comes at AIM, and Civil War II begins.
Uncanny Avengers 9-10. Hank Pym is back from outer space wearing Ultron as his armor, but it's really just Ultron wearing Hank Pym as a meat costume.
Avengers Standoff Omega. Captain America is young again, and a new Quasar gets introduced for no reason.
Batman Rebirth, Batman 1, and Detective 934. All the Batman Rebirth nonsense. Also got that DKR oneshot where Joker killed Jason Todd.
Black Panther 2-3. T'Challa continues to deal with the civil unrest of Wakanda.
Black Widow 3-4. Natasha continues to unravel the mystery of the resurrected Red Room.

Second batch of 25 issues.
Sam Wilson 10. Sam gives the eulogy for the fallen hero in Civil War II.
Steve Rogers 1-2. When the cosmic cube made Steve young again, it also rewrote his history so he's been a devout Hydra agent for nearly a century. Controversy!
Capt Marvel 6. Carol is one of the major players of CW2, so naturally her tie in issue has her fighting c-list villain Dr. Minerva in an unrelated story arc. Bleh.
Carnage 7-9. Carnage is looking to unlock the secrets of a Darkhold prophecy and the team from the first arc is chasing him around the world, bankrolled by Victoria Montesi.
Civil War II 0-2. A new inhuman can "predict" the future, and a team of heroes acts on this info, getting a major character killed in the process. Which forms a rift between those heroes who think they should use the info from the inhuman and those who don't.
CW2 Choosing Sides, Amazing Spidey, Gods of War, X-Men. First issues of all the tie in minis so far.
Contest of Champions 8-9. Issue 9 cleverly ties in with the original Civil War.
Daredevil 6-8. Daredevil fights Elektra who no longer knows his secret identity, and then heads to Hong Kong to play in a high stakes poker match.
Daredevil/Punisher 1-2. Frank wants to kill a guy headed to trial. DD is trying to keep the guy alive. Just like every other squabble between these two.
DC Rebirth oneshot. ugh.
Deadpool 10-12. The end of the Sabretooth arc, and issue 12 is another Deadpool 2099 story.
