Batman #51 - A bit of a farewell letter from Snyder/Capullo.

Daredevil #6 - Elektra shows up, has no idea Matt and DD are the same person (fucking stupid ass Secret Wars), and proceeds to beat the fuck out of DD because she wants to know where her daughter is. What?

Dark Knight III #4 - The Kryptonians demand Batman or they'll destroy Gotham after Superman/Wonder Woman's daughter beats the fuck out of Superman.

International Iron Man #2 - More backstory and Stark being whooped by his old flame. I love the Bendis/Maleev team, but this isn't doing much for me.

Star Wars #18 - Leia, Dr Aphra, and Sana try to regain control of the prison and backup arrives. Can Marvel have their artists submit a one page application before being hired: Draw Artoo how he's actually looks.

Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #7 - A fun "Choose Your Own Adventure" style story.

Velvet #14 - Do you really care? I'm the only one here reading this.

Transformers: Distant Stars (AKA Windblade Vol. 2): Holy shit. This might not be quite on par with MTMTE, but I'll be the odd geek out and say it's amazeballs. I absolutely adore the art; it's unique, and it fits Windblade perfectly. The assembly of a council of former Cybertronians is a brilliant idea and well-handled, and I love the way non-G1 characters are mixed in.

I have this crazy feeling, too, that this incarnation of Elita-One could be a truly great villain.

3 weeks worth = 18 books = $104. Well over $5 per book.

SW 18 regular & Power Droid variant
Saga 36
Avengers Standoff Omega
Waidvengers 8
DD6
Int'l Iron Man 2
AN Inhumans 6
Uncanny Inhumans 7
Ex Xmen 9
Hulk 5
Cap 7 & 8
Vision 6
Black Widow 2
Ultimates 6
Dr Strange 7
OM Logan 5

By my trusty paper list, I missed a Dr Strange special (which I'm not sure I need - is it just a recap of the first arc or is it all-new? anyone?) and Karnak 3 - which I'm not convinced actually came out.

Dr. Strange: Last Days of Magic Oneshot takes place between DS 6 and 7 and is a bunch of short stories about magic users dealing with the Emperikul destroying all the magic. Not essential, but pretty good.

I'll leave the Macklemore track out of this.

Saga 36 had a nice emotional payout.

Oh man, yes it did. Especially as a father.*

More Than Meets the Eye Vol. 9

I fucking love Tailgate.

I fucking love Grimlock.

I fucking love Cyclonus.

I fucking love the Scavengers.

I fucking love Thunderclash.

I fucking love Megatron.

I fucking love Tarn.

I fucking love this book.

And I fucking hate Getaway.

I'm impressed that Roberts was able to do the same "that character is definitely dead" fake out thing twice, with the same two people. He had me crying many issues ago over Tailgate, and now he did it with Cyclonus.

Store B: Spider-Man 4 & Karnak 4 as well as the Original Graphic Novel Thanos: Infinity Finale. Also rolled the dice on IDW's Micronauts 1 & 2, I'll let you know how those are. I loved those toys as a kid.

Store C: 3 short boxes with flip-up lids. God, I love those things.
