Star Wars #16 - Leia struggles to keep the Rebellion's new prisoner Dr Aphra in line, while Han and Luke lose a bunch of the Rebellion's money (Oh, those two...).

Power Man and Iron Fist #1 - Luke and Danny get back together to help a former employee, only to get fiddle-faddled. I'll give it another month or two.

Shaving cream. I fall behind a week or two and this gets downright daunting. Not only that, but I look at some of these books and I'm like 'I can't even remember what happened in the issue without cracking it open and refreshing myself.' Anyway, THREE Weeks ago had 12 issues.

ANAD Avengers 5. Vision is up to summat and gets the other Avengers to kick Ms Marvel and Nova off the team.

New Avengers 6. The future Avengers help Billy kick the demiurge out of his mind and stop their awful future from happening.

Deadpool 7. Giant ass 25th Anniversary issue ($10 wtf??!) with Wade maybe figuring out he killed his own damn family, and also a bunch of backup stories about how the Mercs for Money all agreed to work for DP.

GIJoe ARAH 225. Cobra World Order concludes, mostly with a flashback about how Duke and his wife got separated and she would up a prisoner for years. And also Cobra is back in Springfield.

Guardians of the Galaxy 5. Yotat shows up to beat up Drax and all the Guardians wail on him. Also the Knowwhere Corps seems to be made up of characters that used to be in the GoGs like Mantis and Bug. Meanwhile Annihilus and Brood Queen continue to scheme.

Hawkeye 4. Hawkeye and Hawkguy decide to break the creepy kids out of SHIELD custody. And maybe some Kate flashbacks. I dunno, this book drags.

Hulk 3. Amadeus Cho fights Fin Fang Foom. And we are slowly solving the mystery of what happened to Banner.

Ms Marvel 4. Kamala makes the RRREALLY stupid decision to clone herself so she has time for school, superheroing, and Avenging.

Old Man Logan 2. Logan tracks down the Hulk intending to kill him, but finds the wrong Hulk.

Silk 4. Silk tries to fight the Goblin Army and gets injected with goblin serum and turned into a goblin. Goblin.

Spidey/Deadpool 2. Someone hired DP to kill Spidey's boss...Peter Parker.

Spidey 2099 6. One of Miguel's employees gets Terrigen misted and cocooned and Lash shows up to kill her, so Spidey 2099 tries to stop him and she pops out of her cocoon all fiery and whatnot.

TWO weeks ago, there was a whopping 20 books. One First Issue.

Amazing Spidey 8. Spidey and Shanghai police team up to stop Mr. Negative from killing some humanitarian who used to be a crime lord. Spidey reverts Cloak&Dagger back to their old selves. And Peter's new GF is working with Zodiac to kill Spidey. Wait, what? New GF? Did I miss an issue?

Avengers Standoff:Welcome to Pleasant Hill 1. Winter Soldier is investigating some Shenanigans being pulled by Maria Hill and SHIELD and supposedly he gets dropped into a Norman Rockwell type town with amnesia. Except the plot twist is it isn't Bucky at all, it's Baron Zemo and all the people in Pleasant Hill are mind wiped super villains. Will not end well.

Carnage 5. It's Toxin and Man-Wolf vs a Darkhold possessed Carnage. Carnage escapes.

Deadpool and Cable:Split Second 3. DP is takes with killing Cable to save the timeline, but he decides repeatedly saving Cable throughout time has the same effect. Cleverly retcons Cable having met Deadpool several times before their first meeting in New Mutants 98.

Uncanny Inhumans 5. For some reason, Blackbolt is now running an ultra swanky casino hidden under Grand Central called the Quiet Room. Blah. After that kickass first arc, this is just...weak. Also, McNiven is already gone on art.

Poison Ivy 2. A rare DC purchase because I enjoy Clay Mann art. Someone killed Ivy's boss and is trying to frame her for it.

Power Man and Iron Fist 1. First Issue. What DB said. Didn't like the art too much.

Silver Surfer 2. Brings back Shalla-Bal as a super villain. No. Abso-fucking-lutely not.

Spider-Gwen 5. Flipping thru it to recollect what happened, I don't think I read this one yet.

Starbrand and Nightmask 3. Introduces a bunch of new cosmic entities along the lines of Eternity and Infinity. And also more college stuff.

Star Wars 16. Leia brings Dr. Aphra to the Alliance's version of Gitmo, which promptly gets broken into. And Han loses a bunch of Rebellion credits in a Sabacc game. Jackass.

Darth Vader 16. Ruins the badass story told in the Vader Annual by making him go back to the planet and stomp some more insurgent ass.

Thor 4. The queen of the light elves is forced to marry Malekith to stop the slaughter of her people. Freya is put on trial by Odin for aiding Thor. Thor takes issue with that and shows up to kick Odin's ass.

Transformers MTMTE 49. Skids fills in the awful holes in his memory as the crew tries to stop a killer aboard the Lost Light.

Transformers Sins of the Wreckers 3. Didn't read it yet.

Ultimates 4. Adam confronts his nemesis Anti-Man in the neutral zone and we get Anti-Man's origin. Eternity tasks Galactus with stopping the Ultimates from learning "the truth".

Weirdworld 3. Didn't read it yet.

Wolverine 5. Wolverine enlists the aid of the Wasp to go inside one of her clones to destroy the nanotechnology killing her. But then she gets shot and killed anyway, so Laura has to go find the bad guys and end this.

ANX-Men 4 Warren is frustrated that Laura keeps deliberately putting herself in danger. And the Blob is back. Because the part where he got depowered on M-Day and then became a diet guru over in Japan or wherever doesn't count anymore. That would require editors to do their fucking jobs.

ExX-Men 7. The X-Men are trapped in Weirdworld, and Storm and Jean Grey have to go inside Nightcrawler's head because he's all butt hurt about finding a mass grave of mutants.

And LAST Week and THIS week get combined because I skipped last and a fiscal emergency meant I had to curtail my purchases for both weeks. I had to leave a bunch of comics on the racks, sadly. But I've been looking to purge a bunch of series from my list because it's just getting too expensive, so this was the week to start. Had Five from last week and Seven from this week, but I just threw them all together. One First Issue.

Avengers Standoff Alpha. Bucky tells Steve Rogers that SHIELD is up to something the same time the Whisperer tells Capt America what's going on in Pleasant Hill. Rogers goes to check it out and the villains choose that moment to "break out".

Black Widow 1. First Issue. BW stole something from SHIELD and IMMEDIATELY becomes enemy Numero uno. This first issue is just one big escape chase. But it's from Waid and Samnee, who just finished up the excellent run on Daredevil the last few years, so I'll stick around for a few issues.

Daredevil 4. DD gets some advice from Steve Rogers on how to deal with Tenfingers. Blindspot reveals himself to his mother.

Deadpool 8. Wade erroneously thinks Sabretooth killed his parents and tracks him down.

GiJoe vs Transformers 11. Guilted into buying this one again. I told him I dropped it. Haven't read it since like issue 4.

Iron Man 7. Tony hires MJ Watson to be his personal manager. Rhodey gets captured by bad guys in China and Tony calls Spidey for help.

Moon Girl/Devil Dino 4. Hulk shows up and beats up Devil, which makes Luna mad.

Saga 34. Hazel's teacher wants to help her escape. Hazel's parents go to Prince Robot for help.

Squirrel Girl 5. Multiple Squirrels Girl defeat Dr. Doom and restore the timeline.

Spider-Man 2. Miles defeats Blackheart and saves the Avengers. His mask is torn and it becomes a huge deal on social media that he might be black.

Darth Vader 17. Why do people continue to fuck with the Lord of the Sith when they know it will not end well for them?He needs a better press agent.

Transformers 50. Big 50th issue. Optimus arrives o Earth, defeats Galvatron, and basically takes over. All Hail Optimus begins.

Uncanny X-Men 4. The Dark Riders try to take out Xorn and fail. The X-Men attack their Egyptian hideout, but they all teleport to Genosha to confront Magneto alone.
