I totally forgot that was coming. Disney has a done a shit job of promoting it.
I didn't even know it was coming out until yesterday. Watched Andor last night, so I'll probably watch Tales of the Jedi this weekend.

Loved the Tales shorts, especially Bryce Dallas Howard fleshing out the character of Yaddle. I was wondering if I was missing a connection - are the brother & sister from the farming planet (ep 6) characters we meet again later?

Finished watching Tales of the Jedi. I forgot Yaddle disappeared between movies. I probably should go back and watch the Clone Wars.

Finally started andor. Solo could have been so much better if it had been laid out in a series like this instead of being crammed into 2hrs.

I didn't think Solo was bad, but you're probably right. But without Solo bombing, would we have gotten any of these TV series?
Oh, and Vel cleans up pretty nice.

Binged Tales last night. Enjoyed Dooku’s arc, watching him become disillusioned with the Jedi, and switch sides. But I’d like to see more. I can never fully believe how Anakin and Dooku fell for Sidious’ pitch.
Haven’t watched the last seasons of Clone Wars, or Rebels, so I wasn’t sure of the timeline of the end of episode five with Ashoka and Rex.

The last four episodes of Clone Wars is some of the best SW ever.
And if you've not seen Season 6, it's basically spackling for all the plot holes of AOTC and ROTS.

If I were to start watching Clone Wars, do I just start with Season 1, or is there a better order?

It's all fucked up. There's no mincing words.
The official site posted the chronological order. Even Season 7 is out of order as aired.
https://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars ... isodeorder
If you want, the 3D series still fits in the Tartakovsky series, which still mostly works. The first 21 episodes (the way it's parsed on D+, up until Anakin leaves Coruscant in Part 2) comes before the 3D series, and the rest happens before the final 4-parter (though Anakin's part of the 2D series has to take place at some earlier point or he's in two places at once... but the Battle of Coruscant is still worth watching).

Rebels and Bad Batch (which is essentially Clone Wars Seasons 8+) are both in proper order. There are four Rebels shorts that are listed separately from the main series on D+, and I recommend watching them first.
I would watch Rebels before Bad Batch, personally.

Or just skip them and watch something enjoyable.

I don’t follow or give much of (or any)a shit about Emmys. But is it too much to think Andy Serkis and Stellan Skarsgard might be getting some Emmy attention for Andor?
Holy Shit this show is fantastic. I’m sad there’s only two seasons and we haven’t even got the second season yet.

I just posted essentially the same on FB. Unless they royally fuck up the last two episodes, this is going to be the greatest season of Star Wars ever. Ever.
"I can't swim." GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!!

Just a reminder from page one of this thread about Clone Wars.

It looks bad. Really bad.
Among other things, Anakin's supposed to have a padawan who's somehow not around anymore in ROTS but it isn't addressed. She's eleven, but dresses like a whore.
Dooku and Anakin duel at least once, somewhat undermining the dialogue of ROTS.
Asajj Ventress marks her fifteenth return from the dead. Seriously, that bitch should join the X-Men.
And Anakin and his underaged whore padawan must go to Tatooine (major problems with Anakin returning there, wouldn't you think?) to rescue Jabba's son, who's never been mentioned before in any source, from the Confederation.
Does the word "clusterfuck" mean anything to you?

That's hilarious.
The viewing order in that link is making me second guess watching Clone Wars. It starts in a random episode from the end of season 2, then one from the end of season 1. Then watch a movie, followed by a couple non-sequential episodes from season 3. Then season 1 mostly in order. After that watch the first few episodes of season 2, then 3 from towards the en. Then back to episode 4. A few more random episodes of season 3, back to episode 1 before some weird mix of season 2 and 3.
What did they do? Throw ping pong balls with episode numbers on them and pull them out of the lottery machine to determine the order?
