Another of my favorites is the anagram names. Trebor Coleman is probably the laziest name ever for a Star Wars character.

I was at a sports card/toy show yesterday. One of the vendors had the Jawa 2-pack and Carbonite Han Solo. The Carbonite Solo looked like it was too small. The Jawas didn't look bad, but I don't really need more Jawas. I'll probably skip both of those and just get Mosep Binneed.

Have you seen the fucking piece of shit TRU exclusive Jabba sculpt? It's like someone dropped the wax master and it got squashed under someone else's foot. Fucking awful. It also lacks any kind of accurate detailing. It makes the Walmart exclusive Jabba look like a Gentle Giant product.

Too small. I just did some research today since we haven't had any new figures here in literally months - I'm 10 figures I would purchase behind. I have no idea which, if any of them have even made retail (as opposed to internet shopping only) in the US. I know Chux got one of them & I see many of them on amazon for prices I won't pay once conversion to US and shipping is factored in. 10 figures - most of 2 waves. We haven't had it this dry in Canada for a long, long time. :(

You got Mosep Binneed. And you mean which Jabba, the one included in the TRU exclusive boxed set:

If reports are accurate, they created this Jabba by shrinking the 6" version - most are saying the previous US WalMart Jabba is far superior. I do have that previous Jabba & love it - absolutely no motivation for me to seek this set out. That Rancor IS pretty nice though......

Almost every store in my area is empty of Star Wars toys. What they do have left is on clearance and been sitting there for months and months.
Preparing for the onslaught of TFA toys.

I found Mosep on Amazon. Does Amazon.ca have him, maybe?

Apparently my being the first person to report a TFA product leak at a Target store has made me a minor celebrity for five minutes.

So you still have 10 minutes of fame coming to you?

Nerds have found stuff up here too. I've seen some pics, the new 5POA 3.75" figures look good, but I'm not forking over a bunch of money for them.

I still laugh at the fact that they've fallen back to the 5POA that we originally got 20 years ago...and the figures still cost 2-3 times as much as they did back then.

This is why I don't read the news anymore. It's too depressing.

Yep I'd say these look to be about "good EpI" or "POTJ" type quality. Not bad back then, not good enough now for my money.

But you're paying for the nostalgia. THE NOSTALGIA!!!
