Bugonia. Goddamnit. I watched Poor Things. I knew Yorgos Lanthimos is a weird fucking director. I KNEW this was gonna be a weird fucking movie. And I watched it anyway. What the fuck. What. The. Fuck.

Y’all need to watch this shit, just so you can regret having watched it. The flat earth. The ending. I fucking lost it. So absurd.

probably shorter.

Project Hail Mary. From the guys that made Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and the Lego Movie. Quite enjoyable sci-fi film.

Tommy (the Who's rock opera). It has been a long time since I've seen it, and even then, I'm not sure how much I paid attention to it. I remembered Tina Turner and Elton John, but seeing Jack Nicholas in it really surprised me. It was definitely a product of 1975.

Watched parts of all 3 Lord of the Rings movies. It was like Peter Jackson was just trying to see how many stupid faces he could get Elijah Wood to make.

Mercy. Chris Pratt has a mere 90 minutes to convince an AI Judge/Jury/Executioner that he didn’t kill his wife. 90 minutes is such a stupid arbitrary short time to mount an investigation and defense that the rest of the movie is stupider for it. Without it, it might’ve been a semi-interesting murder mystery.

Crime 101. Chris Hemsworth is a jewel thief and Mark Ruffalo is the cop trying to track him down. It was like a community theater version of Heat. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked gravitas. And it was about 30 minutes too long.

Rewatched Blazing Saddles. Man, in another universe, Cleavon would’ve been the biggest star in the world. I lose my shit at “Where the white women at?” every time I watch it.
