The first thing I remember him for were Spectacular and Web of Spidey runs with artists Sal Buscema and Alex Saviuk.
I didn’t realize he was a damn baby when he wrote the Death of Gwen Stacy arc and invented the Punisher.
His list of created characters is insane. Firestorm. Ms. Marvel. Jason Todd. Killer Croc. Punisher. Jackal. Vixen. Vibe. Gypsy. And on and on. Damn.
