NBC Orders ‘The Munsters’ Reboot to Pilot

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

It's the Dark Side of having a successful, both critically and financially, film. It gets diluted with awful follow ups.

Watched the Pilot for Mockingbird Lane. Jerry O'Conell played Herman. Portia DiRossi played Lily. And Eddie Izzard played Grandpa. Despite Bryan Fuller writing it and Bryan Singer directing it, it wasn't anything special. About the only decent thing in the show was Izzard's delightfully mirthful portrayal of Grandpa Munster as a decadent vampire.

I just watched it also. All I can say is that it wasn't terrible.

Charity Wakefield, the chick that played Marilyn, looked hot.

It has potential. Herman seemed a little weak. Not sure about the casting of Jerry O'connell. Have to say the scene at the camp site was frickin awesome. Totally wasn't expecting that. I don't like Eddie Izzard but his performance was deliciously creepy. His bat persona was horribly comical given how short and stout Izzard is. Portia de Rossi looked smokin' hot even in the green fur skirt. And top marks for casting a kid as Eddie that isn't incredibly annoying. The house though is the star. The design of it is outstanding. I'd move in if it were a real property.
I could totally get into this if it becomes a show. A little more plot wouldn't go amiss but everything else seemed to be in place.
I have never read any of your posts, but from what I can learn I should say that for people who like the kind of posts you deliver, they are just the kind of posts such people like.
