When I say TMNT, I mean the 1990 film, I'm just too lazy to write out the whole damn name. Consider TMNT shorthand for ALL the Turtles movies.

It wasn't "basically," either. It was definitely Turtles 4; they just downplayed a lot of the second and third because they were ridiculous. (Kinda like how Superman Returns is Superman 5, but they flat-out ignore the bullshit of 3 and 4.)
