I really hope he gets the nomination. I just feel like a dick for not registering in time for super Tuesday. Oh well. As for Republicans, I would hope for John McCain out of the big three since he seems the most willing to work with both parties. Ron Paul is good but won't win by a longshot.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Re: Candidate match game
Well, damn, I agreed with Obama on 10/10 on that one.
McCain vs Clinton would result in the lowest turnout in history. We have two older career politicians. Both are reviled by conservative Republicans. One is a conservative Democrat currently pretending to be liberal, the other is a liberal Republican currently pretending to be conservative. Neither seems to be inspiring anyone to vote.
Honestly, if it came down to it, I'd have a hard time deciding and would probably go with McCain over Clinton. They're both lying sacks of shit, but he's a tad more honest. Unfortunately, that's like saying bin Laden is a tad nicer than Hitler was.
However, I'd say Ron Paul beat the other Republicans, since we disagreed on Iraq, and it's minor. I say within 1-2 years. He said now. I can live with that.
And I probably agreed with McCain on 4/10, since his stance on abortion depends on what side of the bed he woke up on. (Same thing with Romney.) I think it's one of the sickest fucking things one can do, but it's better to do it in a hospital than a back alley, I suppose.

I'm registered as an independent voter, so I couldn't even vote today if I wanted to. I guess you have to be either a registered Democrat or Republican until the primaries.Senor JabbaJohnL wrote:I really hope he gets the nomination. Well, fingers crossed that it doesn't happen. But I'd be dipped in shit if it did. I don't know about McCain, but I don't think Hillary has a snowball's chance in hell.anarky wrote:McCain vs Clinton would result in the lowest turnout in history. Neither do I, so I have no idea how she keeps doing so well in the primaries and polls and that kind of shit. I've never met anyone who said they'd vote for her.Double_G wrote:I don't think Hillary has a snowball's chance in hell.

Re: Candidate match game
GG, are you sure you can't vote? Most states seem to have open primaries, at least on the Democratic side. Republican primaries appear to be closed except where state law prohibits it.

Well, that's just what I had heard, unless I was misinformed. I am in New York, so chances are there are open primaries, but I haven't looked into it much.

And we have this brilliant ad campaign to thank for that...Senor JabbaJohnL wrote:I've never met anyone who said they'd vote for her.
