Slicker, did you have to work today? When I was in Korea, they gave us off on Super Bowl Monday off. Of course, we had to watch the game during breakfast.

O yes they gave us the morning off. It's like 10 in the morning and it's half time.

They got the hangar bay darkened out with the elevator doors closed and they've got a big projection screen set up. I'm just watching it alone in my shop since I could care less about either team and I don't care to see all of the fake ass Patriots fans complain about every little thing.

Intense final quarter of the game. I didn't really give a shit who won, but I guess it did my heart good to see the G-Men win, as I used to be a fan of them years ago. I LOL'd at Plaxico Burress's fake-ass crying, though.

In case you care, the commercials suck more than Slicker's mom.

Damn, was that right. The only ones worth watching was the "Iron Man" spot, which completely fucking kicked ass, and it was more exciting than the first half of the game and the halftime show combined and the Doritos big mouse commercial. The Charlie Brown/Underdog/Stewie Coca-Cola commercial was alright, though. But other than that, these were the worst batch of Super Bowl commercials in recent memory.

And Tom Petty is the walking dead now. Next year they had better have a kick-ass show with either Aerosmith, Metallica, The Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, or all of them combined to compensate for fucking up classic rock.

Sorry, but he looked like Gary Oldman in the end of "Dracula". Not dissing his music, but it just goes to show that the Super Bowl Halftime Show has become almost like a kiss of death. They need an injection of Metallica to bring it back.
