When I was stationed in Riverside, CA, there was another base in San Bernadino, CA that was just about finished closing down. It was a cargo base, so they have really large hangars for the planes that were empty. One afternoon they made an announcement that Pink Floyd was practicing in one of them and that anyone who wanted to see them could go. This was just prior to the Division Bell tour. It was probably the only Floyd concert ever where no one in the audience had any drugs.
I left a concert I saw in High School off my list. We went up to D.C. to see the fireworks on the 4th of July We sat near the steps of the Capitol Building. We weren't very far from the orchestra, which was conducted by Henry Mancini.
