I still haven't seen the film, but my friend did and showed me a few choice scenes. The trailer is Ronald McDonald talking about how he's making his "first movie," which just so happens to be this lovely cinematic treasure. Holy shit, it's like they didn't even try to hide the product placement.

Okay, finally I saw this today with some friends. Holy fuck, was it bad. But since I'd heard such terrible things about it, we just laughed at the shittiness of it all.

The wheelchair kid falling off the cliff was the funniest fucking thing I think I've ever seen.

It was more the way in which it was handled, since the kid was obviously not truly crippled (he kept moving his legs and feet throughout the film). As you may or may not remember, his backyard suddenly turns from a flat field to a hill to a giant fucking cliff, and his brake literally breaks off during his trip down. He is then replaced by a poor-looking doll for his slow-motion descent into water.

If it was a real wheelchair-bound person, it wouldn't have been funny. But all things considered, it was fucking hilarious.

On the subject of his legs . . . if the aliens could bring him back to life after he blew up, why the hell couldn't they fix his legs?

Another thing; I loved how the mom always blamed the wheelchair-bound kid for everything, including putting plants and wildlife scenery shit in the kitchen and on the ceiling, which of course he could not do.
