How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

Are there fanboys going crazy for Kylo Ren and Capt. Phasma? I know Boba Fett takes a hit for being killed by a blind Han Solo with a stick. But, one of them has trouble fighting stormtrooper holding a lightsaber and let the droid carrying the map to Luke just roll away. The other was quickly captured and let the Resistance destroy the base.

I think Daniel Craig's Stormtrooper cameo might have more screen time and dialogue onscreen than Capt. Phasma.
Maybe not, but I bet it's damn close.
I remember Gwen Christie did an interview and she said she was in Episode 8, and someone in the comment section said "oh, so it'll be her first SW movie..."

Phasma & Rathtars - 1.23 percent more entertaining than the 10 minutes of Ani/Padme being intensely romantic in AOTC.

To say Phasma was a letdown would be an understatement. It was especially so for Anarky Jr, who, being a little girl and all, was really looking forward to her.

Much as I hate Kylo Ren (and it's not "love to hate"), the twit did just take a fucking bowcaster bolt without flinching. There's a reason Abrams put so much emphasis on the previously little-used weapon, including showing how badly it killed Nines; surviving that is no joke. Not doing better against Finn and Rey is understandable.

Maybe this whole thing is a setup for a Phasma stand alone movie. That's something Gwendolyn Christie has proven she could carry, in my humble opinion.

So Dave Filoni wants to make the older, bearded soldier on Endor into Captain Rex.

Of all the tie in between the various Star Wars movies and tv shows, this one actually makes sense the way they are doing it.

Okay, more SW collecting than SW.... I found the 6" TBS FN-2187, Phasma, Jango, and old Han today. I had Finn and Phasma in my hand, because I've actually been looking forward to those two.

And I stared at them, noticed how shoddy they were, and said to myself, "This shit ain't worth $20 apiece."

That's the hard part - the quality. They're fucking terrible. Disney is pretty much insisting you buy their shit (in this case the metal versions of the exact same figures in the exact same scale). Hasbro's days are numbered.

2 versions of the Bluray/DVD/Digital Download set available at our Walmarts up here - the "Only at Walmart" BB8 package as well as a black packaged version complete with a bonus disc including deleted scenes. Watching the deleted scenes now. Keep your eyes open & don't assume they're all the same when you get to the store.

the 'Elite Series' isn't the same scale, it's a 7" standard.
Life is short. STUNT IT!

Ah ok - my bad. I don't buy either scale so they look identical to me.

I am less over Star Wars than I thought. Because...*SQUEEEEE!!!*

Also when did minimalist piano rifts become a thing? Jurassic World, Ghostbusters, now this. I don't dislike it perse, but shit gets overdone yo.

Needs more John Williams and less Ninja Samuarai. Still looks good though.
