picked up a coax extension cable at walmart, and found 'scarlet spider' (ben reilly spider-man costume)! first toy i've bought in... i have no idea. what's my last post in here?

I've spent obscene amounts of money on SW stuff the last week or so, due to the tons of new figures, vehicles, deluxes, and multipacks. The Turbo Tank is quite nicely done, more or less as good as the AT-TE. The new overpriced ARC-170 ($65 at Target) looks cool but is pretty nonessential, even though I did get it.

What are you guys finding MrJJ? We haven't seen Legacy past the Hoth wave (which never showed up at retail - only specialty stores here). We have seen Legends in the new packages but i'm not buying those.

Got Marvel Universe Green Goblin today in a lucky find.

I've seen the Hoth wave here and there, and the AOTC wave extremely sparingly, like every figure once each, and only about a week ago. The new-packaged Legends have been around a few weeks, and the three new Clone Wars waves on the new cards are all appearing at once right now. I'm also seeing more of the deluxe assortment and the red packaged vehicles (including Anakin's starfighter, the Republic Fighter Tank, the ARC-170, and Turbo Tank, along with repackaged older ones). The Geonosis Assault (gunship pod) and Vulture's Claw packs are also out, but I haven't seen the former just yet. Somebody apparently found the Kyle Katarn wave of comic packs, but I haven't. So there's a lot of stuff right now, but much of it is Clone Wars.

Today I broke down and ordered the Ecliptic Evader TIE Fighter (with the big goofy Rebel logo on the sides) and the Crimson Empire Crucible set (aka Power Ranger Pajama Party). Entertainment Earth is having a sale; the TIE was $32 or so and the Crucible was $25, so I decided to finally get these.

Got the Target exclusive GIJoe: Rise of Cobra Eel and Air Viper. These are repaints of the 25th Anniversary figures with mini-vehicles, for only $2 more than the normal figures. The Eel is in black with green highlights, which looks bitchin' on a kickass elite Cobra trooper in a wetsuit, and he comes with a sort of Cobra jetski. The Air Viper is silver and purple (far cooler than it sounds) with a black (stealth?) variant of the CLAW... and enough missiles and bombs to arm any "Cobra armory" diorama. (Seriously, the CLAW has spots for four bombs or missiles, and it comes with either ten or twelve--they're in the other room.)

If you're getting the 25th Anniversary Joes, these are worthy additions. A future wave has the old-style SNAKE Armor (!!!!) in black, and some other Cobra trooper. Unfortunately, this wave has Grand Slam (the 25th figure with movie colors) and some retarded hangglider and Snake Eyes on a bike, so I'm not sure the second wave would even be made if the film bombs.

My wife found the other Evolutions Rebel Pilot set for me at Target for $10.88. Seemed like a decent price.

THey are on for half-off up here, r2, and I have almost got up the gumption to get the rebel pilot sets. 4 out of 6 ain't bad (figures wise), and they'll be less than 9 bucks each including taxes. Very close to worth it.

Yeah, Target decided to clear them out a few weeks ago, but that was the first time we saw that Rebel set. It was mostly the clone pilot and Sith sets.

Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes (Rise of Cobra). I got the variant with the grey Timber, almost entirely for Timber (who's the second sculpt previously available only in a five-pack I didn't get). Turns out to be the nicest Snake Eyes figure I've seen in ages. The ROC logo looks like it could be easily removed, and the mouth isn't sculpted. Also, I did a quick (temporary) head swap with one of my extra Greenshirts, and I think I'm getting a second, since a little bit of paint would make him into a damned good Dr Venom (who's unlikely to ever be made).

transformers animated snarl. because i've decided i'm getting all the TFani dinobots. which is only three so far, so it's not a huge drain on the wallet...

wow, really? no one's gotten any toys since my last dinobot?

that said, got swoop last night at TRU. he's really cool.

i also saw the mcquarrie concept boxed sets, $40 each, which really surprised me. i guess that's what i get for not keeping up with the SW info. they look cool. i'm sure they're pissing off a bunch of people who hunted long and hard for the first versions. maybe that means we'll get the exclusive botcon TFClassics seekers down the line.

I've gotten a lot, but keep forgetting to post in here. In SW news, I have all of the ROTJ wave and most of the ROTS wave, but the ANH stuff has not hit yet despite supposed to be arriving between the other two.

Found a sports card show at a mall here in Phoenix. Seemed like there were just as many toy vendors as card vendors. One guy had a box of vintage SW that were 4 for $10. I got the Death Star Commando, Walrusman, Dagobah Luke, and best of all, 2-1B. Finally I have completed the Deuce Trifecta, OYES! I had 2-1B, Dagobah Luke, and the DS Commando when I was a kid, but they are probably in a landfill somewhere. Anyway, none of them have weapons. The Deuce does have the tube that goes from his face to torso. For the most part, the paint on them are good and the joints are tight.

I'm still looking for are the ROTJ Slave Leia and possibly the ROTJ Luke. When does the ANH or ESB wave coming out?

Had to go to Walmart today and ended up finding the Death Star Luke and 2nd Ugnaught. Luke seems too skinny from mid-torso down. They also had the GI Joe Destro/Breaker Comic pack on clearance for $5. For $5 it was hard to pass up.

I couldn't remember if I had it, but they had the Evolutions Rebel Pilot III set for $13. As far as I can tell I don't have it, so I plan on going back tomorrow to get it. Believe it or not, collectionstation.com was actually useful because I'm 450 miles from my stuff.

Oh, shit, the Ugnaught with the ROTJ BAD piece is the second one. I passed on him the other day.
