If that's the case, I'll get the Cloud Car and wait for the Snowspeeder to go on clearance.

Like I said earlier, I'm a sucker for those vintage cards. I might get one of each except for Bespin Luke and maybe C-3PO. We just got Bespin Luke a not that long ago. The picture I saw of C-3PO wasn't that impressive, so if it doesn't look better in person I'm not getting it. I didn't get the 2 piece helmet Vader or 4-LOM the first time around.

It appears, though, that the Snowspeeder is one per case, and only in the initial case. Might not be a good idea to wait for it to go to clearance.

Well, I don't really need it so I'm not worried about it.

I posted this on the other site, but here it is again:

Most of them have at least something new about them. Different people define what's "new" differently, but here's a list of the figures and their changes, from what I've seen (I don't have any of them yet):

1. Dengar - all-new
2. Leia (Hoth Outfit) - all-new
3. Han Solo (Echo Base Outfit) - never-before-released outfit; uses torso and legs from 2006 Endor Han
4. Luke Skywalker (Bespin Fatigues) - all-new
5. AT-AT Commander - new character; based on Captain Needa sculpt
6. See-Threepio (C-3PO) - all-new
7. Dack Ralter - uses Evolutions pilot body
8. Darth Vader - modified from 2008 Vader; now has three-piece helmet and DVD-accurate blue eyes
9. Boba Fett - same mold as 2007 Evolutions and 2009 Droid Factory versions; more accurate paint job than either version
10. 4-LOM - repack of 2007 figure
11. (Twin-Pod) Cloud Car Pilot - all-new

The rest is based on what Hasbro has said and the images seen so far:
12. Darth Sidious - never-before-made outfit; all-new
13. Anakin Skywalker - based on 2008 Vader; includes new head and added ball-joint elbows
14. Sandtrooper - repack of 2009 Dewback version
15. Clone Trooper - plain white, modified from Gelagrub version (ball-joint hips, removable helmet)
16. Obi-Wan Kenobi - looks to be repack of 2005 Pilot Gear figure with cloth cloak, but unclear
17. General Grievous - modified from 2008 version; includes new head, new cloth cloak, and added wrist articulation
18. Magnaguard - all-new
19. Clone Commander Cody - repack from 2009 LC version

As for Dengar, well, the new one is on the left, and the previously-thought-of-as-great one is on the right. You be the judge:

The new one has removable crotch armor - that should be enough for some folks, I think.

1. Removable cod piece? I'm in. From that picture, I like the new one.
2. Planned on getting
3. Planned on getting
4. Probably not
5. Maybe
6. Maybe
7. Planned on getting
8. Planned on getting (skipped it the first time)
9. Probably not
10. Planned on getting (skipped it the first time, especially since the POTF2 version is looking a bit dated)
11. Planned on getting, crap this wave is going to be expensive.
12-19: Pass

What wouldbe even more awesome is putting the older versions of Dengar in that picture as well. Even the Vintage one.

Looks like 1-3, 5-7, 11, 17, and maybe 4 and 18 for me.

I asked elsewhere, but it might be easier to directly ask JJL here. :)

Any idea if the ladders in the Wedge X-Wing came from another toy? The height is off, neither actually attach to the X-Wing, the one looks like it goes to a waterslide toy of some sort, and, weirdest of all, that one has slots to attach something (that interact perfectly with the other ladder). I honestly get the impression this was a couple of repurposed Littlest Pet Shop accessories they tossed in. (They're not above that. At all.)

I haven't heard anything about the ladders. The yellow one came with the smilin' Luke from Comic Con, which came out a month or two before Wedge's X-wing, but I'm not sure if they're from somewhere else first. As seen in the promo image from the vintage card, you can see that the ladders are, in fact, accurate to the film.

So I'm leaning towards them being made specifically for this line. There were those canceled accessory sets from seven or eight years back that, I think, included ladders, but I can't find an image right now; so I'm not sure if these are from the same mold, though I kind of doubt it. But yeah, the pegs and holes are odd, and so is the fact that they really don't like standing up on a shelf. :P

I wasn't doubting the color (though you're right, the designs are pretty film accurate). The weird slots and holes (and size difference--probably why they're not standing up for you, since they have to be leaned out so the bottom isn't flat on the floor) just make it seem re-used. Ladders not being too terribly varied in design, y'know.

His neck looks a bit too long here, but he still appears to be awesome.

WM exclusive comic pack from last year, IIRC.

Are the headwraps removable or something?

Seems like most of those comic packs were an excuse to put out old figures with funky new colors.

It almost makes me want a Dengar "Blue", how stupid is that
