I'm guessing/hoping it's more than a glorified cameo, simple because Spidey calls him Frank, implying they've met before.

The trailer appears to show them interacting in at least two locations.

This is going to be like the film version of an overstuffed 90s crossover like Maximum Carnage, and I am here for it.
