I unsubscribed from smalljoes.com and bigbadtoystore.com mailing lists. I just don’t buy action figures like I used to. And while I would click on the link in the emails once in an awhile to see what was new, it just wasn’t worth having the emails clog up my inbox constantly.

I have not gotten into collecting the 6” Joe. figures. I have neither the funds or space for it.
But I want to display the 5 characters from GIJoe:ARAH Yearbook 2 on a small shelf in front of that cover on my wall. Thus far, they have made Snake-Eyes & Timber, Roadblock, Lady Jaye, and Torpedo. Waiting on a Ripcord that isn’t Night Force.

So, this is happening. We can't get fucking Billy after 40 years, but Dawn is dropping this summer.

I am absolutely not complaining (although, really, come on, Billy's a goddamn cyborg ninja who's Cobra Commander's son!). I pre-ordered my first non-Ross clearance Joe figure in ages and look forward to her kicking all my other figures' asses.

Also, the comments on social media are surprisingly positive. Yes, there are the mouthbreathers grumbling "wokedy woke woke I'm going to go suck a stranger's dick now." Those dipshits will always exist. But for once they're the minority. Which is funny because this is literally a Latina who replaced the most important white male in the book.

I customized a Billy a verrrry long time ago. I took the lower half of a B.A.T. leg and put it on an extra Stormshadow I had, then I glued a very small piece of black construction paper over his eye.
