wicked man, bonsai is right cool... I had a nice one years ago but I wasn't fit to the task of keeping it alive... I am loking at starting one.... I had a few wee maples and stuff in the yard that I was thinking of attempting it with.
Your stuff looks nice so far man, I like the first pic best foliage wise, the trunk stuff is in fairly early stages but nice so far. Cool addition man!!

cool!

yeah, they're definitely in early stages. i wanted to start taking pics now, so i could map their progress... the first one is the only one that i devoted any time to pruning/wiring yet... the second one, the cascade style is nicely shaped, it just needs some pruning down.

the other two are in very early stages, and i'll probably just leave them alone to grow naturally for a while...

the semi-cascade one is now updated, as i pruned and wired that one, as well... it looks really good now, although it is still in the early stages...

well, i've been into it for about four or five years, but all the trees i have now are brand new over the last few weeks... planted mostly in the pots that my old ones died in! but, i'm going to take better care of these ones, and i didn't buy them from a kiosk in the mall, so i know they're healthier specimens to begin with...
