Re: LEGO!
This arrived yesterday. It’s retiring in June, so I didn’t want to wait. The GWP was a cool little sushi shop.
My wish list is down to six sets. The Botanical Garden, X Mansion, and Arkham Asylum are all scheduled to retire by the end of the year, so those are my next purchases.
I’ve still got time for Avengers Tower, Barad-Dur, and the Enterprise-D.

"No Tom Foolery today, Ron. I'm tired of looking at your dreadful, speckled mug."
"Why do you hurt me in this way, Harry?"
”It’s a grid system motherfucker. Eleven up and one over, you simple bitch.”

Re: LEGO!
Last week I finally build my Artoo (the current $100ish one).
I've only had it for a year. I have a few small issues with it, but overall, I really like it.
I'd eventually like the Threepio to go with it.
I still need to build my Starship Collection Tantive IV and the new, smaller BTTF Delorean (Oh, sorry, the "Time Machine from Back to the Future").
Also, about a month or so ago I stopped by a Bricks and Minifigs store, dug through their parts/pieces bins, and built minifigs of my family for Valentine's Day.
I grabbed mugs for the wife and I, a pink wand for my daughter, and a couple of extra torsos for a change of clothes.
They're not perfect, but it was fun and they loved them.

Re: LEGO!
The series 10 BDP final five designs were announced today. Usually I only get one or two of them, but this time I’m excited for FOUR of them. They don’t go on sale until February next year, so I’ve got some time. But I definitely want the Joust and Firehouse. The Kiosk is next. And the Retro Space Diner looks awesome. The only one I’m not as excited for is the Wild West train station.

Re: LEGO!
We went to the Lego Stores today. Two of the workers were overly happy guys in their 40s or 50s. When I say happy, I mean annoyingly happy and won't leave you alone. Right before we left, I was looking at the Smart Brick display. One of the guys asked me if I knew about them. I told him I saw a video online and they are the most underwhelming thing I've ever see Lego make. He left me alone after that.

Re: LEGO!
Bricklink Design Series 11 is up for voting from now until the 25th. 579 submissions. Plenty of cool ideas. Only five will be chosen.
