I was away last week & might have missed an issue or two, I picked up my saved copies & a few extras. Still missing Death of X 1 & it looks like it's going to take an out of town trip to get that sorted.
Hal Jordan 6 - the first arc has been pretty good. Hal vs Sinestro to finish it next issue.
Wonder Woman Rebirth 1 - for free. Appeared out of nowhere (well Store A had one oddly & just gave it to me as I had already made my purchase - loyalty pays I guess)
Batman 9
Death of X 2
ASM 20
Thor 11,12
Iron Doom 1
BWindow 7
BPanther 7
Dr Strange 13

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
Another large week & I know there are a few Marvels I didn't pick up - fucking big week from the House of Ideas.

Vision 12 - scared to open it
Hulk 11
Ultimates 12
SW 24 regular & Lobot variant
Surfer 7
Guardians 13
ExXM 15
CWII 6
ANAD Av 15
Prowler 1
Action 966
Superman 9
Hal Jordan 7
Detective 943
WW 9
WW 75th Ann special
According to my handy dandy paper list I'm still missing: Death of X 1, Dr Strange & The Sorcerors Supreme 1, Dr Strange Mystic Something 1, Rogers Cap 6 and Punisher Annual 1. Total for new comics this week will be about $115. This week.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week
Yeah, this week was fucking huge. My grand total was like $85 and I ended up putting four books back and I'll get them next week.
I flipped thru that WW 75th book and it seemed like a bunch of inventory stories for $7.99 so I passed.
That one Dr Strange issue is an MCU oneshot. They always put out an issue when a new Marvel movie is coming out. They never actually reference anything in the comics in the movies, so it's sort of this limbo continuity that has like 8 or 9 issues in it.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
Last weekend I hit the Grand Rapids Comic Con and grabbed a handful of things, some for nostalgia purposes.
3 for $1 boxes:
Atomic Robo: The Ring of Fire #1
Darkhawk #9 (Punisher)
The Eltingville Club #2 - Because it's Evan Dorkin. It didn't have a number on the cover, so I thought it was a special or something.
Guardians Team-Up #5-7,9-10
Hank Johnson, Agent of Hydra #1 - second copy because it was awesome.
The 'Nam #52-53 (Punisher) - might be duplicates,
The New Mutants #99 (2 copies) - bagged together and I didn't notice.
Nomad #1 (2 copies - also unknowingly bagged together, but both signed by the artist)
Power Pack #46 (Punisher)
Powers #1 (reprint)
The Punisher #54 (The Final Days)
The Punisher #60 (Black Frank Castle!)
The Punisher Armory #5
Batman Annual #21 $2.00
Batman: The 12 Cent Adventure $1.00
Batman: Death of Innocents $2.00
Marvels: Eye of the Camera #1-6 + # B/W variant $6.00
Pacific Presents: #1-2 $6.00,$4.00 - 3rd and 4th Rocketeer appearances.
Realworlds: Batman $1.00
Realworlds: Justice League $1.00
Realworlds: Superman $1.00
Realworlds: Wonder Woman $1.00
Ruins #1-2 $3.00 - Been searching for #1 forever. The alternate version of Marvels where everything has gone to hell.
Spider-Man: Reign #1-4 $4.00
Criminal: Coward $5.00
Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating the DC Universe Volume 3 $5.00
'Nuff Said $5.00

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
From two weeks ago, 20 books. Two First Issues and three Final Issues. 3 CW2 tie ins.
Amazing Spidey 20. Clone tie in. The backstory of how Otto got a new body from Jackal.
Ant-Man 13. Final Issue. The trial of Ant-Man ends and all loose plot threads are tied off.
Batman 9. Batman recruits a Suicide Squad to go after Bane in Santa Prisca.
Black Panther 7. BP recruits "The Crew" 2.0 to help him take down Zeke Stane. Nobody from the original Crew is in the new version, so Marvel just co-opted the name and slapped a bunch of black heroes on the team. Which is racist.
Black Widow 7. BW and the Weeping Lion track down the next gen Red Room assassins let loose on the world.
Sam Wilson 14. Sam and Steve enter a hostage situation involving ULTIMATUM and Flag Smasher, but it's all an elaborate ruse perpetrated by Steve Rogers, a-hole of Hydra to make Sam look bad when a Senator gets killed.
Carnage 13. Carnage and Raze head deeper inland looking for the Darkhold book.
CW2: Kingpin 4. Final Issue. Fisk settles old scores and sets up his new ongoing. If it's by the same writer, I'm totally in.
Deadpool:Back in Black 2. DP teams up with Power Pack and Obnoxio the Clown to fight Snarks.
Deadpool: Too Soon 1. First Issue. Deadpool invites a bunch of quirky Marvel characters over and somebody kills Forbush Man, so the party turns into a murder mystery. Not especially funny book is trying too hard to be funny.
Dr. Strange 13. Strange is trapped in a nightmare where he's forced to roll around with dozens of hot half naked women in his house all day. Scary.
GFT 2016 Photoshoot Edition. Grimm Fairy Tales bucks political correctness with this cheesecake pinup issue of its characters in scantily clad back breaking poses. And I approve.
Uncanny Inhumans 14. CW2 tie in. Iron Man vs the Inhumans. Stark wants justice for the Inhumans fucking up his life, toppling his tower etc. The Inhumans offer up Triton as their sacrificial lamb.
Iron Doom 1. First Issue. CW2 fallout. Apparently, Tony Stark is no more. And Doom thinks the world needs an Iron Man and he's the Iron man for the job.
Mockingbird 8. Final Issue. CW2 tie in. Apparently this issue caused a mini controversy with its cover and possible retcon of a 20+ year old WCA story. All I know is I enjoyed this series and it's a bummer it only lasted 8 issues.
Silk 13. Cindy rescues her parents from the Negative Zone and they're all reunited.
Squirrel Girl 13. Enigmo has literally taken over the world, and only SG and her friends can stop him.
Thor 12. The secret origin of Mjolnir is that it's a sentient cosmic super lightning storm that Odin fought for some exaggerated amount of time, and then trapped in a lump of uru metal, which he then had forged into a hammer.
ANX-Men 14. Cyclops has a broken leg so just sits around playing video games all day. And Marvel was like, hey we should waste 22 pages writing about THAT this month. Remember when the X-books didn't suck balls?
Death of X 2. The X-Men and Inhumans continues to fight about the Terigen cloud.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
From last week, 20 more books. Did you know, it's incredibly difficult to pick up 20 comics in bags one handed? Incredibly difficult, bordering on impossible? Yeah, you do now. And I just wrote it down, so now that's science, bitch.
Anyway, 20 books. Five CW2 issues, Four Final Issues, and Five Firsts Issues and/or Oneshots. This was also an expensive fucking week, and I ended putting Star Wars, Hulk, Dr Strange, Ms Guardians back to pick up this week. $80 goddamn dollars. For one week.
ANAD Avengers 15. Final Issue. CW2 tie in. Thor goes to Heimdall for advice about whether to get embroiled in the CW2. Heimdall tells a story of the original Thor in a similar situation.
New Avengers 17. CW2 tie in, but not really. The fact that Bobby Dacosta has outplayed the Maker at every stage of this conflict pretty much makes him Marvel's Batman. Don't get me wrong, this book is entertaining as hell, but when does Sunspot outthink Reed Richards? One more issue to go.
Steve Rogers 6. CW2 tie in. After seeing Miles kill him in a future vision, A-hole of Hydra Rogers manipulates events and friends for the good of Hydra. I'm not sure how Rogers will ever recover from this douchebaggery once this storyline is finished.
Civil War II 6. After seeing himself standing over Steve Rogers corpse on the steps of the Capitol, Miles heads directly to the Capitol to prove he isn't a killer.
Deadpool 21. $9.99??! What the fuck. That's like a seventh or eighth time they've done that. Madcap is back and he wants revenge. And what looks like an abandoned plan for a mini series gets jammed into the back of one issue, thus hiking up the price because they k know DP fans will pay. Dicks.
Deathstroke 5. Slade exchanges insults with his hostage Damian, as Rose sorta teams up with Batman to figure out who put a hit on her.
Dr Strange Mystic Apprentice 1. Oneshot set in the MCU where Strange learns astral projection. And two classic Strange tales from the 60s. His origin and his first appearance.
GIJoe ARAH 233. As usual, about six ongoing plot lines jammed in every issue. Go Hama!
Moon Girl Devil Dinosaur 12. Kid Marvel confesses his love to Luna. The Kree invade a Lego competition and Luna builds a life sized triceratops out of Legos for DD to control while she's in charge of his body. She also finds out she may be the smartest person in the Marvel U.
Ms Marvel 12. After CW2, Kamala visits relatives in Pakistan.
Prowler 1. First Issue. Clone tie in. Hobie Brown finally gets his own series, and it's mired in Clone Conspiracy event nonsense.
Punisher Annual 1. How could Marvel possibly put out an Annual that had a 1 on the cover. Are they crazy?? It's unprecedented. The unmitigated gall of such an outlandish....this was weird because my guy only got three copies of this issue in, and all here had different covers. I picked the Ron Lim one. What was the story? Oh uhm. A cop and Frank are both tracking a guy that killed the cop's father.
Revolution Transformers Oneshot. Marissa Faireborn and Thundercracker team up to save the president from Dire Wraiths. Highly entertaining.
Saga 39. The Will is fired. Hazel has her first kiss.
Serenity No Power in the 'Verse 1. First Issue. The adventure continues.
Silver Surfer 7. Norrin and Dawn get in a high stakes poker game with the Grandmaster in a cosmic casino. Good stuff.
Spidey/Deadpool 10. The witty banter flows freely as Spidey and Wade continue to fight their genetic clone offspring ItsyBitsy.
Ultimates 12. Final Issue. CW2 tie in. After the Triskelion is destroyed and Black Panther publicly switches teams during CW2, the govt decides to defund the Ultimates.
Venom Space Knight 13. Final Issue. I didn't collect this series, but I'm a sucker for final issues. This one seems to be dealing with plot threads from the previous Venom series and Venom's teen sidekick/offspring Mania.
Vision 12. Final Issue. A damn fine conclusion to an excellent series. I'm hoping Tom King's exclusive contract with DC ends soon so he can come do more work like this for Marvel. This series was amazeballs from first to last.

The fudge?? I missed Guardians 13 last week. I think I'm missing another issue also. Might be time to run across the river and see what's what at Tim's. I thoroughly detest holes in my COMPLETE runs of books.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
Only 12 books this week, and 4 of those were from last week. Although, my guy did sell out of a couple things before I got there, so a trip to my backup store is in order. Anyway. Five First Issues, but only one CW2 tie in. And hey, now I'm caught up with my reading for once.
Avengers 1. First Issue. Mike DelMundo is a decent artist, but I'm not sure his style is right for the flagship Avengers book. First off, Peter Parker offers to fund the Avengers and let's them crash at his Parker Industries HQ, formerly the Baxter Building. Then, Kang shows up looking for his infant self, after Vision went back(forward? Time travel sucks) in time intending to kill Kang as a baby and instead kidnapped him. This all happened in ANAD Avengers. So, Kang goes back in time to when the Avengers were infants and erases them or something. Decent start, just...the art doesn't jive.
Occupy Avengers 1. First Issue. I'm sorry, how outdated is "occupy" anything? Didn't that happen like five or ten years ago? In the halflife of pop culture relevancy, that's like the ice age. Who approved that? Secondly, this book is basically a Hawkeye ongoing, with Red Wolf as his sidekick. Hawkeye is a big celebrity deal now that he's killed the Hulk and been cleared of the charge of murder. But the title Hawkeye and Redwolf deal with contaminated water is a boring title. And yet marginally better than Occupy Avengers.
Batman 10. Batman and his personally handpicked suicide squad head to Santa Prisca to get Psycho Pirate from Bane. Bane breaks Batman's back, and then he unbreaks his own back as part of his master plan to let the squad in through the backdoor. Ugh. Is this the same guy that wrote Vision?
Deadpool M4$ 5. The new team rescues NTW and she decides to join the team.
Dr Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme 1. First Issue. Merlin recruits Dr Strange and other sorcerers from different timelines to combat some nefarious hodgepodge ancient evil blah blah blah. This was dull and dropped. Dr Strange only needs one ongoing. Which is good because I didn't feel like typing out that title every month.
Faith 5. I needed to round up to 8(12) and this had the new President on the cover. The book itself was rather dull. A plus sized superhero! Yawn.
Foolkiller 1. First Issue. The book everyone was clamoring for. Greg Salinger has put away his vigilante costume and become a legitimate psychiatrist. Except there are still fools out there that need killing. Also, that has got to be the ugliest costume in comics today. They make fun of his old zorro looking costume, but it's ten times more memorable than his generic armor looking shite he's wearing now.
Hulk 11. CW2 tie in. Is it me, or have the last three issues all been the same issue? Hulk vs Black Panther armor. The real question is why I haven't dropped this book. Especially since Cho isn't even drawing it anymore. Y'know what? Dropped. There. Did it. JJ, I hope my decisiveness inspires you to follow suit.
Star Wars 24. The special Stormtrooper unit they're trying to make a thing boards the stolen Star Destroyer that Luke, Han, and Leia are on and start a fight. Did you hear what the new Star Wars ongoing is? It's Doctor Aphra. So basically it's the Darth Vader book without Darth Vader and starring his supporting cast; Aphra, the two murder droids, and the evil wookiee.
Unworthy Thor 1. First Issue. What's Thor Odison been up to since the post Secret Wars relaunch? Well he was moping about losing his hammer, and fighting trolls and shit. Then, the Unseen(the creepy Nick Fury in a cloak that replaced the Watcher after he murdered him, also the guy that whispered to Thor and made him lose the hammer in the first place) tells Thor there's another Mjolnir. The Ultimate version that landed in the Marvel U after SW. Thor decides he's gonna go get it. Damn, Oliver Coipel draws beautifully. And Jason Aaron is really putting together an epic Thor run, despite having to reboot the series like five times. Good stuff.
ExX-Men 15. Magik's protege has been possessed by some hodgepodge ancient evil blah blah blah and is attacking X-Haven. Probably putting your school in a dangerous alt dimension like Limbo is looking less smart every day, eh X-Men? The one good thing that's come out of this series, is that they "matured" up a few of the X-kids like Anole and Herman amd are giving them more to do.
Death of X 3. The build up to this series was much more epic than what is actually being delivered. But I guess that's what happens when you have white bread and warm water writers like Soule and Lemire writing your event books.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
Oh it's done - the first issue that isn't a CWII tie in is the first one that's not coming home.
Oh, and I think Death of X is to X-Men vs Inhumans as the stupid Cable lead-in was to AvX. I'm enjoying the art, it reminds me of Quitely on New X-Men.

Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?
12 books this week. Three First Issues, but nary a CW2 tie in.
ASM Renew Your Vows 1. First Issue. But really the fifth issue since this picks up where the SW mini left off, with Peter, MJ, and Annie all fighting crime as a family. Sadly, not in the main continuity.
Uncanny Avengers 16. The Unity Squad versus a Hand resurrected zombie Hulk.
Avengers 1.1 First Issue. The "untold" story of how Cap's kooky quartet replaced the A-list original Avengers squad. There were a couple of 8-issue minis back in the day called Earth's Mightiest Heroes that told the same retconned story. Not sure we need to retcon retcons.
Steve Rogers 7. The asshole of Hydra continues his douchebaggery. He's been holding Baron Zemo prisoner ever since he faked his death to get Red Skull off his back.
Daredevil 13. DD's sidekick follows serial killer Muse into the sewers to rescue two cops, a judge, and a politician, and gets himself into trouble.
Deadpool Back in Black 3. Black Cat mistakes DP for Spidey in his black costume, and they team up to fight White Rabbit.
Deathstroke 6. Joseph, son of Slade and sister of Rose enters the story. And apparently he's up to no good.
Gwenpool 8. Gwen discovers the benefactor bankrolling team MODOK is actually ...a Doombot. I think.
Iron Girl 1. First Issue. Riri Williams, the Invincible Iron MarySue takes over as Iron Man.
Clone Conspiracy 2. Jackal has resurrected everybody in Spidey's life that's died. Both enemies and allies. Except Uncle Ben, thank god. And Scarlet Spider and SpiderGwen have been running a secret side mission.
Spidey/DP 11. Another fill in issue, this one written by Vegas magician Penn Jillette. 33% of the issues in this series have been fill ins. Wtf, Kelly and McGuiness?
Uncanny X-Men 15. Psylocke is on her own after leaving Magneto's team, but she's still kicking ass solo. Then she gets in a fight with Mystique.
