At some point, having that many Avengers books means you're cannibalizing your own sales to attract readers. A guy will drop New Avengers to start reading Mighty. Or drop Uncanny to start Avengers World.

Readers stop looking at these relaunches as jumping on points and start seeing them as jumping OFF points.

I was a little underwhelmed. Hoping to find more deals, but this show attracted a different set of dealers who weren't willing to part with their comics for less than $4. I like the other show I frequent much better. And he's got his garage sale coming up in Sept. Buy two long boxes fill up a third for free. That's like 1000-1200 comics for $200.

Hulk turned into Incredible Hercules.
Thunderbolts changed to Dark Avengers.
Thor turned into Journey Into Mystery featuring Loki and then Sif briefly.
Iron Man turned into War Machine for 3 issues.
Wolverine became Dark Wolverine and was a Daken series.
They spoofed it on Cable's final issue by making it Deadpool & Cable (as a reference to Cable & DP series from a couple years prior.)
