Re: Iron Man 2: ScarJo & Mickey Rourke Help Raise Iron Curtain
Went and saw this tonight and must say that it was really good. Definitely a great follow up movie. Like all of these other movies I'm not a comic nerd so I just go in with a blank slate. I'll definitely be buying this when it comes out.

Saw it. Loved it. Haters an suck it.
My only minor complaint is the final battle with Whiplash. Besides another bad guy with his own version of the Iron Man suit, the fight is over way too quick. They spent way too much time fighting the drones (even though that was pretty cool) and being chased. The Whiplash battle is over in like two minutes.

Re: Iron Man
Ben Kingsley is in talks to be the villain in IM3. Conventional wisdom would suggest he's the Mandarin. Except I thought Shane Black has said elsewhere he was going for Tom Clancy-esque political intrigue vibe for the third film. I don't know how Mandarin would fit into that. And Kingsley ain't Chinese, which would piss a lot of people off. On the other hand, making a Chinaman called The Mandarin the villain might ruffle just as many feathers. A cliche stereotype Stan Lee created 50 years ago, might not fare so well in today's political climate.

iron man gets involved when he enters into a business contract with the mandarin's rival, "the navel".

Re: Iron Man
Not surprising. He's only been in 22 books, including Handbook bios. I have 21 of them(missing that Excalibur oneshot) and I had totally forgotten him until that article.

Re: Iron Man
Oh, I know why I've not heard of him. It's really quite simple, once you think about it.

I'm not really crazy about the reverse color scheme.

Re: Iron Man
It looks like Iron Man dressed up as the Mummy. Or somebody wearing a full body cast and an IM helmet. I dunno, maybe its the lighting, but it doesn't POP! like the classic Red/Gold.

Re: Iron Man
It looks like an unpainted prototype Iron Man, or maybe some sort of plated armor he wears under the suit.
