Okay. I'll admit I exaggerated that bit because 47 is still way too fuckin' young to go. I'm only 38. ("Only." yeesh.)

Giving Zaphod credit is like drinking gasoline & washing your mouth out afterwards with broken glass... but I saw what he did there. :(

Truth is, until he appeared on Colbert last year, I thought he'd been dead for years.

He seemed like a wonderful crank who hated people and wrote books for kids. My kinda fellow. :(

Coldplay did a tribute to MCA. Weird how they can turn a party song into something depressing.

I've heard of Cold Play, but couldn't name any of their songs. The impression I get is that they don't make the kind of music I listen to. Still, I've had their version of that song stuck in my head for 2 days now. :frus: MAKE IT STOP!

Goober from Mayberry died.
So did Vidal Sassoon.

They were on no ones list.

I don't believe anyone had Donald "Duck" Dunn.

Can't help but wonder if he ever recorded with Jeff "Skunk" Baxter....

Dunn also performed on recordings with The Blues Brothers, Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Albert King, Levon Helm, Neil Young, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Wilson Pickett, Sam & Dave, Guy Sebastian, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, Roy Buchanan and Arthur Conley.
I knew him from The Blues Brothers. Had no idea he played with so many other artists.

Wow, she must really have squandered everything she had on drugs. There's nothing wrong with being a porn star, but I've never heard of someone going from being a WWFE wrestler with her level of name recognition to a porn star.

Dwayne Johnson certainly knew how to strike a better deal. And not just because he can legally call himself "The Rock" any time he wants, and she couldn't legally call herself "Chyna" until she found a loophole in the trademark law and legally changed her name to that, which is funny as shit, sad as it is.

Supposedly Chyna did a porn where she was gang-banged by a bunch of guys dressed up like Hulk Hogan and other wrestlers.

I take it no one had Donna Summer.

I may or may not be able to confirm that one of her efforts was entitled "Back Road to Chyna" or the like. Don't ask.
