I saw 4 Skydives at a Walmart. Didn't buy them. Waiting for the next Joe wave. My wife is going to let me order the Arctic and Desert Cobra sets for my birthday. Yes, I now wish I bought them when I saw them 4 months ago.
As far as Star Wars, I think the next figure I'm looking for is the Weequay. I don't think there was anything else in that wave I wanted.

I got the MU Goliath/Thor set at WM. It's got a 12" Bill Foster Black Goliath to go with my Legends, and the Thor Clone from Civil War to go in a drawer.

Chux, it was the Shock Trooper that nearly had my money. WalMart has them for $7.69 or something up here - $2.30 less than SW vintage or Clone Wars per figure. I still have a box of 25th Ann Joes that he would fit in nicely with. The other one I was ready to buy was the Snake Eyes with interchangeable heads - that looked like the best Snake Eyes ever. If I'm lucky enough to see them again, I'll part with the money I think.

Anarky Jr was watching Johnny Cash with us last night, and blown away by the harmonica in "Orange Blossom Special." She decided she wanted the Easter Bunny to bring her a harmonica. So we stopped by TRU tonight to see if we could find one. I went in alone, and, obviously, had to get something to justify to her why I had a bag (as it turned out way too big to fit in my pocket, as I'd hoped).
So, I took Rollo's advice and checked out the figures on sale in response to this post:
Not sure what the Metal Viper will look like, but I hope to do his inspiration proud. I might actually wait until I can get the upgraded basic Viper and just accessorize him like a badass.

Got a Thor. A basic one, with an absurd sword that becomes a hammer and looks like some ridiculous guitar sword thingy. Since the sale required two figures, and was on Thor, Iron Man, GIJoe, and last year's Legacy/Build-A-Droid line (which is now the black Wing Guard, Saessee Tiin, and Leesub Sirin), I got another Desert Storm Shadow. I first started to get a Jungle Viper, but I already had two for custom fodder. Then an Arctic Destro, but I decided some of the Storm Shadow stuff could be used for better effect, and his accessories can definitely find a home somewhere. Whereas Arctic Destro has some stupid accessories, and, anyway, he's so plentiful I can probably get him for two bucks at Target in a few weeks.Rollo Tomassi wrote:Every time I see this I think of Carl dressed as a Viper and throwin' horns.Ran wrote: ...and Rock Viper.

Re: So, what toys did you buy or get this week?
My wife went to visit her family in Phoenix. Before she left, she gave me a $10 off $50 purchase for TRU. Got the Space Shuttle Lego and a Lego fire truck (buy 1 get 1 half off). Grabbed another $10 thing for a later gift to make it $50.
Today I was bored so I went to the flea market with the hopes of picking up some cheap GI Joes. Wasn't much there. The only Joes I saw were a battle damaged Snake eyes & Stormshadow from the comic pack, a blue cobra infantry with a Snake eyes head and a broken hand. In place of the broken hand, there was a plastic hook held in place by electrical tape. I passed even though they were only 50 cents. There was also a completely naked 12" Stormshadow which I also passed on. There was a bootleg set of superhero figures, but it wasn't nearly as good as Special Man.
Since I was in the barrio, I went to a Kmart. Managed to get a Steel Crusher for $11.

got two small "pharaoh's quest" sets for easter - scarab attack and golden staff guardians - and six randomly selected 'collectible minifigures' from series 4. ended up with the 'street skater', 'surfer girl', 'geisha' and 'garden gnome' (which i thought was something else, otherwise i wouldn't have opened him). the other (unopened) two were the sailor and hockey player which i don't want.
Life is short. STUNT IT!

I already have a hockey player and I would trade for a 2nd. But, the only things I have to trade are the snowboard girl or the hula girl. I don't know if it is worth the price of postage to send them across the country.

This guy. He's one of the mini figures from series 4. I didn't put the mask on him because it looks like a football helmet.

Even though I was hoping maybe Lego had the NHL license, and not just some random player, that is actually pretty cool.
I would totally buy a Lego hockey set, complete with rink, players, refs, coaches, etc.

Oh, and a Zamboni.
And a Lego Stanley Cup.
And a mini octopus to throw on the ice.
And extra hats.

I got my third LEGO train station (its the yellow one from a few years ago) in the mail this week.
I also got MotU Classics Sy-Klone, and two Panthors (one for me, one for my daughter) and the vintage retro looking Weapons Rack.
