Our sub-division is doing a community yard sale in a couple weeks. I decided to try to get rid of some Star Wars stuff. Nothing that great, but I thought I'd see if any of you guys needed this stuff first. All of these are carded or still in their box. I'm not sure how much to sell them for. Maybe $3-$5 for the carded figures?

POTF2
12" Walrusman
Cantina Aliens Cinema Scene

POTJ
R2-Q5 (the one where "Imperial" is spelled wrong)
K-3PO

AOTC
Yoda (with force action)
Count Dooku (with slashing lightsaber attack)

OTC Luke Pilot

ROTS
R4-P17
C-3PO
Blue Senate Security

Saga Skirmish at Carkoon

Micro Machine Millennium Falcon play set. The box I have is slightly different. Doesn't have the gold falcon on it.

8-pack of bootleg Star Wars I picked up when I was in Korea (but the package says "made in China".) It has Hoth Han, Boba Fett, Stormtrooper, SOTE Chewbacca, SOTE Luke, C-3PO, Tatooine Luke, & Tie Pilot. It is the bottom set in the pictures.

I wouldn't sell the bootleg set at a yard sale. It'd be of interest to a bootleg collector and you could get a lot more. If they were individual figures, I'd take that wonky red-tinted Stormtrooper. He looks like he might be Frassk's secretary, or something.

Oh. Didn't know there was much of a market for bootlegs. I have two of that set, which is why I'm willing to part with it. I think I bought it for around $10.

TRU was having a BOGO1/2 LEGO sale for today only, so I got the Train Station, the City Corner set(with the pizza joint, bike shop, and bus stop with bus), and two smaller sets. The Small repair truck and the small Police helicoptor.

If and when I find some space, I have the makings of a pretty decent town started. A town that will be hella safe from fires.

Yesterday, the DCUC Green Lantern Wave 2 arrived. It had Green Lanterns Sodam Yat(aka Ion), NuatKeLoi (the fish lantern), MedPhyll(the tree lantern), Star Sapphire, Red Lanterns Nite-Lik and Skallox, the mini 3-pack with B'Dg, Dex-Starr, Despotillis, the movie Preview figure G'Hu and Build-a-Fig Stel (the robot lantern).

every LEGO town should be really safe from fires and crime, because they reboot the Police and Fire subthemes every alternate year (it's a Police year, this year).

if you're interested in SW LEGO, target has some good sales right now. mandalorian battle pack is $8. imperial v-wing is $17, and then there's a $3 off 'bunny munny' coupon bringing it down to $14. same exact deal for the ninjago ice dragon.

meanwhile, TRU have started to release the PotC sets (two weeks early, big shocker, that).
Life is short. STUNT IT!

I'm not into the SW LEGOs much anymore, but I did get that V-Wing for my son on his birthday in February.

What's the "Bunny Money" coupon? I get a lot of stuff from Target, but don't think I've seen that one.

it was a special easter-themed coupon book. i don't know exactly when it was mailed out, maybe mid-march? and maybe only to target card holders? idk. all i know is, i'm glad i held out - it's like a double coupon!

and that was after buying the ARC-170 for half price ($30) with the 'variable discount coupon' at Barnes & Noble - someone on slickdeals shared the 50% off coupon, and there was no governance on how many times it could be used apparently! the missus got 'land of painted caves' for $11 as well.

Damn, man, I've got a Target card, and I know I'm on all their "you have kids" lists, but it always seems like they leave me out of killer deals like this. :(

When I was in CA, Target stores were like weeds and the closest WM was like 40 minutes away.

Now that I'm back in IA its the exact opposite. WM is within walking distance, and the only Target is all the way across town. Plus, every time I do happen to be on that side of town and stop in their selection of toys is so shitty I'm in no hurry to go back.

Of course, WMs selection isn't much better, but at least I don't waste the better part of an hour round trip driving over there to find jackshit.

Also, my city is fucked up in that we have TWO K-Marts and only one Target. Target needs to open another store on my side of town.

I wasn't invited to the party either.

The closest Target is 20 minutes away. There's one within 30 minutes if I go east, southeast, south, or west. (There's pretty much nothing at all north.) I could walk to the shitty WM.

Thing is, this city was so badly planned they have nothing but the WM and some tiny grocery stores (no shit, the next city beside us, which is bigger, has no grocery stores), we've got to go "into town" once a week, so I still get to Target regularly.

We are apparently getting Target here (for real this time, if you've heard this from me before - the story has reared it's ahead at least twice before) so we'll see if that makes any difference.

I'm still pretty much up to date with basic SW figures from the OT - and I've even purchased a few PT figures this year due to their looking good when I found them on the shelves. Not sure what you guys are seeing down there, but we're on hold as of the AOTC wave. For GI Joe shit the pursuit of Cobra waves have been around but not with much density - I see a few here and there. Not buying any.

If you're up to date on SW figures, you're doing better than we are here. Sporadic sightings of Waves 3+, with mostly the pegwarmers from Waves 1-2 rotting.

GIJoe consists of a bunch of "Raptor Zartans," action-feature Snake Eyes and Storm Shadows, POC Duke II's, and Arctic Destros, with the occasional other figure. I've still not seen Shadow Tracker and only got the second POC Destro (with the Gatling gun) from HTS.com.

And, trust me, either of the action feature-less Snake Eyes, the desert Storm Shadow, Low Light, or the Cobra Shock Troopers are some of the best figures ever. If you get them, you shan't be disappointed.
