An album I actually worked on

uh, y'know, the sounds that sound good together... sometimes... and sometimes sounds like the disgusting "squish squish" sound Slicker's mom makes whenever she walks

I put it like that so he wouldn't track it back- I wasn't credited but I ran the board for much of it (mostly for the vocals) and sat in on the mixing. Listen to some of the previews (title track is my personal fave but there's plenty of gold)

EVERY FUCKING TRACK the guy laid down was so bad, and on the playback he'd be super pleased, even as I'd be telling him we should re-take something he'd be raving about it- the guy who ran the studio couldn't even be present cos the off-notes drove his musical ear insane.

I have a copy and I think my buddy has a stack still if yer interested

Very interesting album cover !

I listened to the samples of God Bless the Aliens and Gifts Come Back to the Giver, that was enough for me.

That's funny Cae, you actually picked the tracks I would have suggested. The guy is completely tone-deaf and his voice levels fluctuate wildly making working the board more like playing a real complicated video game then working a board
I was at my buddys this past weekend and I mentioned that "God Bless the Aliens" was available online then we went to that site and laughed ourselves silly at each sample track. Elf will not let me play the actual album in the house :ducks:

But the guy is a visionary songwriter, an exceptional musician and a talented vocalist. His voice shows individuality and uniqueness.

oh yeah with lines such as "like a circus bear in the month of june!!"

The funniest part of that whole page is how it suggests you'd like The Force if you also enjoy Lenny Kravitz, FTWhaaa?? to be sure :mabs:

Yeah, and if you like the smell of my farts, you might appreciate the jazz stylings of Miles Davis.

It says the release date is 2003. It sounds like something from the late 80s/early 90s.
