Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, STP, the Screaming Trees, Soul Asylum, the Foo Fighters and even, to a lesser extent, Nirvana have a kinda "classic rock" vibe to them, though they're always labelled as alternative. (Aside from the "rawness," there ain't shit out of the ordinary with Nirvana.)
