Supposedly AWESOME movies you'll admit to having never seen!

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

Who has not seen Crash? That is one of the best movies I've ever seen.
The Borg wouldn't know fun if they assimilated an Amusement Park.

oh, i've seen it. i meant it was in the category of movies you can generally only watch once and have a hard time "getting into" again due to the heavy nature of it. for me memento is another because you REALLY have to pay attention to it to make it worth watching. most of the time i'm not looking for that in a movie.

American History X was barely worth 1 viewing.

Titanic - sucked.
Fight Club - sucked.
Saving Private Ryan - After a few viewings I realize the only part I really like is the opening invasion. The rest is just boring on repeated viewings. This is especially true after watching Band of Brothers, which blows SPR out of the water.

Awesome movie! I was glad to see it take Best Picture in 2006. Say, maybe one night I can make you dinner and we can watch that. I did go to the grocery recently. Rain check is always available if you are not hungry or in the mood to watch a movie.

In the Valley of Elah, Paul Haggis as well, is another outstanding movie that needs to be watched by all.
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

As someone who's seen fifteen minutes of "Cool As Ice", I can safely say that I'd rather blow myself than watch any of that piece of shit movie again.

The Daily Scribble and some TV commercials for the sequel reminded me that I've never seen Hellboy. I don't remember hearing much about it. Am I missing much?

I've only seen Hellboy once. Need to watch it again at some point.
