Re: Remember the guy...
I saw him at a McDonald's in Escondido yesterday. He was emptying the trash bins.
Some scary shit: one of my wife's co-workers is apparently dating the kid from Poltergeist and Airplane! And he thinks he's a big star still.
If she had more of a sense of humor about anything, I'd tell her that, next time he asks how she wants her coffee, she needs to say, "I like mine black, like my men."

Fuck the dude who played Billy. More people actually need to remember "Gremlins" before they remember him. That movie doesn't get nearly as much love as it deserves. I guess it was because of the shitty and campy-as-all-hell sequel.

Re: Remember the guy...
I'm confused, on the topic list this thread says it was created by emperordaddypants, but Eternal Pad is the first poster. Not that I really care, but can someone shed some light onto this?
"Once there were brook trout in the streams in the mountains. You could see them standing in the amber current where the white edges of their fins wimpled softly in the flow. They smelled of moss in your hand. Polished and muscular and torsional. On their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Maps and mazes. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again. In the deep glens where they lived all things were older than man and they hummed of mystery."

In a few of the updates vyn's done to the software, it kinda screws up the "original poster" information from some seemingly random pre-existing threads.

Not just any elderly women, Slea. They have to be blue-haired and require the assistance of a walker.
