Long story short, I've had my old Playstation and the Sega Saturn out for a spin lately. The fist Activision Spider-Man game for Playstation is still amazing! I got stuck on the second part, but am going to rekindle my efforts at beating it - sometimes a break is just what the doctor ordered.
Sitting there but useless right now are Mabs' old Super Nintendo (I have the hookups, but the games aren't starting for some reason - anyone got ideas?), my old Genesis, and a Nintendo 64 (which I apparently have no games for these days - another unpleasant surprise).
I'm looking at buying a used GameCube for $24.99 at Microplay - to me that's a steal of a deal.
The games I've looked at are still fun for the most part, but I have noticed one thing: my PS3 is capable of creating nicer looking graphics than these older machines.
