no, it' the conventional spelling for the full name. my next-door neighbor had a license plate that started with "VYN" and i thought it was a cool way to spell my name. i started spelling it "vyn" on videogames when i hit a high score. then one day in middle school i spelled it that way at the top of a science test, and that's been the way i spell it from that day on. but, it's still officially "vincent" in full.
