How obscure is THAT?  Do you realize how much research I had to do to figure out what the hell you were talking about?  Gobots might have been a big deal for you in the early to mid 80's, but in the larger timeline, that's a very obscure popular culture reference.  You might as well have accused me of being part of Lt. Taffenger's Squad at the battle of Passchendaele.  Or being the American Fresca United Carbonated Beverages Coalition during the 22nd century Mega-Cola wars.  Next time, try thinking bigger when you rip on someone. As technology progresses, AI technology allows templates for actual working Transformers and are easily produced for entertainment purposes.  After a few alarming incidents, a size cap of two feet is agreed upon, with most TFs being between 12 and 18 inches tall.  There are also severe restrictions on "flying" Transformers such as the Seekers ( Starscream, being an incredibly popular model, tended to be overproduced and so many two foot long jets became problematic for traffic.)   More ingenious collectors have found ways around these restrictions, but most collectors opt for non-flying alternate modes for classic figures. Seekers are now commonly one man bullet train-like vehicles called Rales, or they are barcalounger armchairs. 


There are no cults or anything of this nature.
