And I did some research online and you know what I discovered? Giraffes aren't real. They are based on the drawings of a 8 year old son of a French Ambassador to Guyana in the early 20th century. He was trying to draw a horse, but also a dog. It came out looking silly and when his father asked him, he responded in some French gibberish that sounded like "Je rafe" which is french for "I suck". This led to photoshopping of actual "giraffe" photos online and some amateur CGI footage. But noone is fooled except you twits that think everything you read online is gospel. ha ha. Simpering coalmarks.
Scrubs.

The first season or two seem slow and not as good compared to the newer ones . . . just so you know.
I like how recently, they've been making fun of the music that used to play whenever JD started to have a thought. For instance, they did it when Turk started to "turn into" JD when he was wondering what Cox thought of him.

Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

and how they've been making riffs on all the latest crop of TV medical dramas like "house" and that other one with the weird looking squinty blond chick...Senor JabbaJohnL wrote:I like how recently, they've been making fun of the music that used to play whenever JD started to have a thought. That's odd, Senor. Jodi and I LOVED Scrubs out of the gate, but we've slowed down on it a little bit - it's still funny, but we're more hooked on the Office. Jodi's even switched Scrubs off to watch Grey's Anatomy or fucking Gilmore Girls from time to time... thank God for internet porn.Senor JabbaJohnL wrote:The first season or two seem slow and not as good compared to the newer ones . . . just so you know.

I marathoned through Season 2 this Saturday. Yeah. Saturday. One season in like 18 hours. It was really good. It was funny as hell, but there were some good "serious" moments. Good writing, whoever.
I'm going to hit up Season 3 this week ( though probably not all at once). I didn't see Season 1 yet because the guy I borrowed it from gave me 3 instead of 1, but he said 1 was kinda weak compared to the later stuff.
Anyway, it's good shit, yo.

Maybe it's since I only started watching the "new" ones within the past two years, and I'm more used to them. I just think the older ones have fewer overall jokes per episode, is all.jjreason wrote:That's odd, Senor. Yeah. I'd fuck the Gilmore Girls from time to time. I'd do 'em both at once.

The younger one looks like a man-alien. The mom is fuckin' FINE, though. Whenever my sister watches that show, I feel like shooting myself in the head, since the people on there need to just shut the fuck UP for five seconds instead of speaking in goddamn paragraphs all the time.Eternal Padawan wrote: Yeah. Re: Scrubs.
This was the very first topic at vynsane.com (you can't disprove that without copious cross checking and research you ain't gonna bother to do, so that's True as of now!)
Scrubs is no longer on the air, so this is the Cougartown Topic now.
Which is also by Bill Lawrence and is just as hilarious as Scrubs.
Discuss.
