the incredible hulk: ultimate destruction

Post by vynsane »

this game rocks ass. i'd say it's tied with spider-man 2 as best super-hero game ever. better than ultimate spidey. it's like playing as venom the entire game. just smash things, and throw trucks at helicopters.

you can throw buses at people and throw people at buses. now that's fun!

I played a demo of this. It does rule. I'm not sure what the object was because there was a timer counting down, so I think there was some objective that needed to be completed. I was just running around smashing things. I'll buy it when it drops in price.

i got it from my brother as a wedding gift, so i dind't have to worry about the price.

you were probably on the board where you have to defend a building from being taken out by the military, because it contains some info that will help you build a machine that will let you delve into your subconscious and take control of the hulk. something like that...

This and Ultimate Spidey are both available on GameCube! It's nice to see that all the major game companies haven't abandoned the little square.

I too love the Hulk, but haven't played this game yet. I'm with EP - I think I'll likely splurge once I see it for 29.99 or less. Ultimate Spidey as well.

I got a super TRU coupon and splurged on this one finally. i spent 5 days straight playing it and WOWEE!!! Hulk is kind of a little bitch at the beginning. But when you finally amass all those smash points and are dealing with some truly amazing combos, this game thrashes! Critical Mass, baby!! Is there a way to figure out what buildings will come down? I've leveled a few but when I try toppling another one nothing happens. i know there in there because on the tally screen theres a list of "buildings demolished" I just wanna raise insurance premiums, yo.

if you lock onto stuff (i forget which button...) the target box comes up - y'know, like if you're in the city, it will select a bus or something... just use the stick to select something else, and if there's a building to smash somewhere in the vicinity, it will eventually select the building.

or you can just rush the buildings, and see if a lot of dust comes out.

Excellent! I can't wait until the day when they come out with a game where you can be a bunch of different heroes (or villains) and thrash Manhattan. A game with Hulk, Spidey, the Avengers and the FF, etc

Man, I've been reading through a bazillion of your posts now, emperordaddypants, and they never get old. Brav-ah!

Wait, this isn't National Opposite Day.

I'm sick of your shit and want to put my shoe in your ear.

Finally on sale for $25 up here - it's likely time for me to buck up. Tough choice between that and X-Men Legends II though - I may have to go for both.

WELL IT ISN'T ME. MY LACK OF HANDS MAKE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES. BUT SOMETIMES WHEN HULK IS PLAYING, I WIGGLE MY WAY OUT THE PEE HOLE IN HIS PAJAMAS AND TAKE A LOOK AROUND.
DONT GET ME EXCITED. YOU WOULDN'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M EXCITED.
