Re: Comics You Didn't Even Know You Had... Or Thought You Did!
I don’t have a lot of the Pre-Crisis DC ongoings on my want list(Superman, Batman, WW, etc) because it’s not likely I’m ever going to stumble across random issues from the 40s and 50s in $1 boxes at comic shows. So my run of the ‘original’ Superman series pretty much started with Moore’s farewell is...

Re: Hidden Gems
Superman 680 and 712. They have Krypto the dog on the cover(s). They’re from when the series reverted back from the title ‘Adventures of Superman’ but before it was cancelled with issue 714 for the 2011 NU52 relaunch. I haven’t looked at other Superman titles like Action from around the same time fr...

Just restart The Muppet Show. Jesus fucking Christ, they listened to you! And they. Fucking. CRUSHED IT!! Everyone get the fuck off your computer and watch the "reboot" immediately! I concur. They nailed it. The only thing that was weird to me was actual people in the audience(and that th...

Re: Big score........
Curiously, #3 is the only issue of Omega Men I own. He doesn’t resemble what we think of as ‘Lobo’ in that at all. I was trying to find a list of his appearances in chronological order to see if the transformation was gradual, or if Giffen just took a little used c-lister and abruptly reinvented hi...

Beginning the ‘B’ box(well, everything after Batman. But the Batman boxes alone are like almost three full boxes, and everything that’s NOT Batman that also starts with a B doesn’t even fill an entire box…) Battleworld 1-5. Honoring the anniversary of the original Secret Wars series, Christos Gage s...
Re: MCU Topic
I’m two episodes in, and I’m loving it. Even without the superhuman sidestory, I’m totally invested in his attempt to get this role. YA-M2 and Kingsley’s chemistry is on point. I loved that we were watching this scene with Joe Pantoliano, and forgetting that Oscar winner Ben Kingsley is the biggest ...

Iron Lung. YouTuber Markiplier played an indie game called Iron Lung several years ago. He loved it so much he spent three years self financing a film adaptation, and another two years trying to get the film a distributor. Finally, towards the end of last year, he announced that it had found distrib...

He was just a few days away from his 90th birthdsy.
His run on Spectacular Spidey was legendary. Over a hundred issues. And back then, we’d take runs like that for granted, because we were kids and didn’t know inconsistency was more common than not.
RIP Mr. Buscema and thank you for everything.
