Re: So, What comics did you buy this week?

The Battle of Jakku was dogshit (or Bantha poodoo). I think i described it like the Itchy & Scratchy episode where they introduce Poochie, and there's a bunch of nonsense going on, and Milhouse finally gets upset and cries "WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GET TO THE FIREWORKS FACTORY?" 11 issu...

Re: Big score........

Action Comics:Men of Steel 1. This is a weird reprint of Action Comics 967 that’s priced $3.99 but it like the half the size of a regular issue. I’m trying to figure out what it’s from. Did some internet sleuthing. Dollar Tree sells DC reprints in poly bags for $1.25. But without the poly bag, it j...

Re: Free Comic Book Day

Tomorrow is FCBD! It’s also Comics Giveaway Day! What is the difference you ask? Well, when Diamond folded, they had the rights to the concept and logo and whatever to FCBD. Lunar Publishing, who now distribute DC, Image, and several other smaller publishers, bought the domain for FCBD. PenguinRando...

Re: How I realized I was over Star Wars completely

Star Wars Insider 237 comes out next week. It’s the Final Issue.

I haven’t purchased an issue since its prequel heydays, but it is still a little wistful to hear it’s coming to an end. Print is dying by inches.

Re: R.I.P. and Thanks for Everything

The first thing I remember him for were Spectacular and Web of Spidey runs with artists Sal Buscema and Alex Saviuk. I didn’t realize he was a damn baby when he wrote the Death of Gwen Stacy arc and invented the Punisher. His list of created characters is insane. Firestorm. Ms. Marvel. Jason Todd. K...
