Re: Winter Classic - Sabres vs. Penguins

I still remember being 6 years old sitting in front of the old Zenith with rabbit ears watching the US beat Russia in 1980. And now the US wins gold 46 years to the day of that game. It was crazy how many games went into Overtime during elimination round/medal games. The Gaudreau family being at the...

Re: LEGO!

The old west sets always seem to do well in the voting. Why doesn't Lego just bring them back?

Re: Celebrity Death Pool!

I didn't know he was sick. When I watched Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back a few weeks ago, I forgot he and the guy from American Pie were in it. Vanderbeek was pretty funny in it.

Re: What's up with the pathetic remakes of shit

They are remaking Youngblood. It comes out in March 2026. I can't even tell you the last time I saw the original version with Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze. The actor playing Rob Lowe's part is black, so it is going to be very hard to find an honest review.

Re: What have you watched lately?

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. It was ok, I guess. The annoying Podcast kid is in NYC with the rest of them for whatever reason. If Winston is the "boss", it seems like he should be supervising a bit more instead of just showing up after an incident. I still have no idea what Janine's job is...

Grady Demond Wilson, 79. He was Lamont on Sanford and Son. I also just learned that he was on "The New Odd Couple" with Ron Glass back in the 80s that only lasted one season.

The best description I've seen so far has been "Masters of the Guardians of the Galaxy of the Universe."

Re: What have you watched lately?

Watched Clerks and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back last night. It has been a while since I've seen either. Young Frankenstein is Brooks' best movie, followed by Blazing Saddles and History of the World. Silent Movie and High Anxiety were good, but I haven't seen either in forever. I never saw Dracu...

Re: What have you watched lately?

The Running Man. Edgar Wright’s updated and much more faithful adaptation of the Stephen King book. I say more faithful and not completely faithful because they changed the ending of the book for reasons. Despite the Hollywood-ification, I still enjoyed it. Just watched this tonight and thought it ...

Re: Football

It is extremely frustrating watching hockey and football lately. The NHL can't explain what goaltender interference is or call it consistently, not to mention illegal hits. The NFL can't decide what is a catch, where someone is down, if a hit is legal, or what pass interference is. Yep. I completel...
